You also fail to realize that Thor attacks stack, meaning greater power with greater numbers; I would imagine there is a critical mass of Thors that just starts one-shotting Vrays because of the splash. I also forgot to mention, LIBERATORS also do insane AA because of their own splash mechanic.
I am not plat tho. I started playing today on NA and Im already diamond. Its true, NA is lesser region. Just beat mass stalker with helions. lol

Disruptor, Immortals, Carriers, Tempests to a lesser degree.

21s. If I could kill 300/200 unit for free every 21s, I would say HELL YEAH and killed it.
Spending minerals, gas, and time on disruptors is the opposite of free. especially when you consider he’s building 8 thors at a time

Pretty sure Thor AA splash deletes Interceptors, just like Liberator AA splash
I tried an absurd composition of 50/50 Void Ray/Disruptor; not bad if they walk everything into your Disruptors, but not much you can do on their side of the map except try to squeak in some Void Rays. What an absurd state this game has reached thanks to design incompetence; 50/50 Disruptor/Void Ray vs Mass Thor/, minimum 60 minute game where nothing happens because there is nothing you can do stop the Terran from taking his 3rd and probably his 4th and turtling.
Not even remotely close at all.
Don’t go Voidrays vs large numbers of Thors unless you have a 3 to 1 Voidray ratio.
Thors have wrecked my Carriers in past patches even before Carriers were gutted; Liberators have wrecked my Carriers; both units did this by splash AA delete Interceptors

No choice, nothing else can fight mass BC or etc.
Thors in splash mode don’t wreck Carriers or interceptors at all.
Also mass Carrier does beat mass Thor if you use the 14 leash range.
Reduced splash, susceptibility to casters…
There’re plenty of counters to Carriers. Saying “Thor” is stupid.
