I totally do. I’m 25-12 vs Terran and 27-10 vs Zerg. I was rusty and kept losing to some noob. Should def be a lil higher vs Zerg… but I should be worse than that vs Terran.
I hate Terran. I’m always having to try something different cause everything sucks, which never helps – until you find the holy grail…
I’m still wondering why you put the gateway right in the terrans face. The reason it works is because the terran sends his reaper half way across the map as you use your zealot to cancel the CC/wall off which snowballs once a stalker arrives. You also can’t do it every game without them eventually just expanding on the high ground.

Well, when I started doing this in HotS… it was the smartest build. Given what Beastyqt has said and everyone accepted and me knowing this twist was the actual “genius” part of it, we should all be able to agree that’s what it is/was.
Back then, no one had ever done a proxy gate build without having it be an all-in. So, this is what people miss. If someone scouted my gateway, they assumed it was an all-in. What else could it have been? Maxpax hadn’t even played SC 2 before… Answer: they would over defend and they would lose because your nexus was too fast in comparison to their cc/natural mining.
So, when you don’t try to hide your gateway, your probe will always see their SCV (basically) if they’re trying to proxy you. What’s the weakness of how Max does the build? His probe is never going to see that he’s getting proxied, so he can’t stop it.
With how I do it, I can just send out another probe when I see an early SCV and prevent the proxy from happening. Also, I started doing this because I kept losing to proxy fac widow mine. If a Terran wanted to proxy factory me, guess what his scv would have to do? It would have to pass by my gateway, and given I’m not a noob and I pay attention to the mini map, I can now know there is a threat/possibility.
So, once you see the SCV pass by your gateway, there’s two things you can do. You can go ahead and send out a probe to try to make sure it’s not happening or you can wait “x time,” and if the scv isn’t at your base by then, then you know what’s happening and can proceed from there. Makes a real big difference.
But, in LotV… I just use it as like an airship carrier… it just helps your units get to their base faster. It allows you to set up a contain with a shield battery and go from there. If you were to have an early observer, where would you want it? Either in their main or where the gateway is, anyways. So… at worse it serves as an observer. And if they are doing an attack, it buys you time. 1 gateway ain’t going to do jack for you, anyways.

Dunno what your guys’ fascination is with streamers. They’re people. They’re worse than people. They’re scammers. You want more of them. I want less of them. World would be better off. He’s not even a big streamer.
Streaming doesn’t grow your man part in real life, only in SC 2 land. You should be more excited to see your mail man.
As for thrasher, about that build. I forgot. Another reason why Max’s version sucks… is cause the actual simple counter to that style is, anyone know? Simply supply or eng bay blocking their natural.
It’s imperative that you keep track of scvs on the map. You need to know what’s going on or could be going on at any time. It was absolutely imperative that you didn’t let them eng bay block you. You had to kill it asap, if so.

When one is not much interested in one MU thet is the only thing to do. You should be more modest when yapping about a World-Rank 130 player when you in your best days have been…World-Rank 1000.
But you envy is easy to see when you also yapped against Disk which is Ranked even higher than Cobra.

It’s common sense that a High-GM does not waste his time watching games of people in lower levels.
