Technically, you have to destroy all the opponent’s buildings to win.
Alternatively, if the opponent feels that the game in unwinnable, you might win because the opponent surrenders.

I only played a few games, those being my first games I ever played as a zerg. If I put a few hundred games into the race; i would be high diamond easily.

10-3 with Zerg to masters baby. Not an excuse.

It is the weakest economically. Must use MULEs especially early on.
It is the weakest structurally. Must wall off or you get GG’d fairly early on.
It is the hardest to micro. Gotta learn early on how to properly control your units. Avoid using F2 as F2 is optimized for the a-move race (zerg).
Always build detection no matter the matchup.
And you need to scout when in doubt on what to build army-wise.

And remember, there is winning when losing in that you win an opportunity to improve. Hard to swallow, it can be, but essential for growth.

JFL at you buddy boy. Only thors are really a-movey, battlecruisers got nerfed so hard and you got to micro those yamato cannons to make them worth anything.
