If you have stuff that’s “indirect”, count it as a separate category. For example, after playing Coop got you to purchase the Campaign missions. Or playing Coop got you to spend money on Heroes Of The Storm

I rant about freemium from time to time (having quit 2 of them in recent years, after having spent 3 years playing one, and 8 months for another), but $130 in those games would’ve paled in comparison to the value I got out of here.
Well it’s good that players like you keep the game alive for the rest of us. I paid full price for sc2 and the expansion packs when they released. Then paid for the dlc commanders . Is more then enough in my book, they can keep the cosmetics

The only money I have ever spent on this game is for story content. If Blizzard wants more of my money they need to release a new campaign.

Man, I feel like such a whale, spent over $10k so far opening lootboxes to unlock the buff that lets you start the game with 3 Brutalisks, no luck so far.

Expansions at full price, Nova DLC, and all of the co-op commanders un-bundled. I don’t really care for the rest since you can’t use skins etc outside of VS mode. And the announcer stuff is meh.

Not counting the middle Campaign pack I bought in this order: Tychus, Swann, Stukov, H&H, Karax, Nova, Zagara, Alarak.
And nothing else for co-op. If this is an afterthought of the map debate, I’d gladly buy maps for 5$.

Got all except the full content of a few war chests (cuz didn’t fancy some of the skins). I’d say worth every penny because I’ve enjoyed Coop for a long time now. I will continue to support it.
I feel really bad because I have not spent much money on SC2.
- 40 bucks for 3 campaigns
- 50 bucks for 10 commanders
While I have been spending 15 bucks monthly for a mobile game.

Let’s see…60 for WoL, 80 for HoTs and LotV, 15 for Nova’s campaign, and 25 for coop heroes. Also, Abathur adviser cuz he is the best.
I bought all campaigns on release (simple edition), don’t remember the exact price already but approximately 39$ and later I bought the collectors edition update with huge discout, so it was laughable like 4$. Then bought Nova campaign for one third of price - about 7$. Bought all commanders but Alarak for half a price (which is totally fair for half a commander), so it was like 46$ total. Also 1 warchest - about 10$.
And there goes more than 100$.
Never had an interest in voice packs. I play with only battle sound, all bullshift is off and this is ridiculous to pay for it.
(I am russian and we have a bit different prices and I am calculating rubles to dollars for you)
What I wanna say - I will buy nothing anymore. Blizzard rotten politics made it. Also we don’t get maps and issue fixes for 2 years and I am tired of “carry the noob mode” where I don’t have a right to play with equal players.
on co-op, i have spent quite a bit, since i have purchased all commanders. warchests is not a part of co-op however but, i have purchased them as well. i purchased all 3 collector`s editions of starcraft 2. i am in the process of buying the classic worker skins but, my bank will lock down my card if i use it more than once a day. i will get the last one tomorrow. i have also purchased all english language anouncers.
I bought the War Chests but they were more for ladder than for co-op. Honestly, I did not expect to be a fan of skins until the sets came out.

That’s about $40 per year from me. I wanted the Warchests and CO bundles for the XP boosts. Otherwise, I don’t care about the other stuff (e.g. announcers, skins… which you can’t even use in Coop), so unless they release new content that has “more relevance”, that’ll be all.
Well, I owned all three campaigns, bought each other commander, I own 4 war chests, and the Nova Covert Ops campaign bundle…
So whatever that comes to is what I spent.
If folks got them at discount or on promo, I’d like to know as well (e.g. Twitch Prime, half off sale, or part of a campaign) which is why I preferred an actual amount.
I love SC2, but when I heard way back when that they were releasing the campaign with each race as a standalone game, I couldn’t do it. At least not when coming off of SC1 where all that stuff was one package. So I waited. Late to the party, sure, but Blizzard ALWAYS releases a Battle Chest, and so I bought every campaign chapter at once.
But as for co-op, I spent however much every commander costs (minus Karax, Swann, and Zagara, as they were all included automatically). No bundles.

The only things I got “on sale” were the War Chests (except the Forged skins. Those I paid full price, since I missed their war chest.) Everything else was full price.
