How many commanders do you have?

Personally i find commanders quite expensive, so i only got 3 free one, and 3 from twitch prime last time.

While i’m browsing the forum, it seems like everyone has every commander, but i’m not sure…

So how many commanders did you buy?

I have all. Almost half was received as a gift though, by some kind soul back in 4 years ago, when co-op was active :stuck_out_tongue:

I too bought all of them. More variety is more fun.

All of them. The variety makes it that much more enjoyable. Almost halfway through the prestiges too.

I friggin adore SC2 co-op so I own them all. Though my final 2 commanders were only purchased just a few months ago. Like others have said, I love the variety, how each commander plays completely differently.

I was always weary of spending money on em too. But I’m glad I did, over time SC2 co-op has become one of my favorite and most played games. IMO it is the future of SC gameplay and probably WC too.

I’ve got them all myself, pretty much all at release at that.

I bought all the zerg commanders (Not counting Stettman), Nova, and Alarak. That’s it.

If you are having a hard time justifying the purchases, just start slowly saving a few dollars or spare change here and there.
Its not that expensive over time.

I have only the first 7 commanders that come with Legacy of the Void.

I find, like you, too expansive the other commanders (but I tried them all and I like them all).

I agree that more variety is more fun.

Someone nice on StarCraft offered me to give me the 11 commanders, but Blizzard has a stupid system that don’t convert gift card. It was a US $ Gift Card and I am Canadian, so I had to give him back, because blizzard seem to be the only company to not know how to convert money…

So I still have 7 commanders and none of the others.

Hope they will get to 20 soon. They are adding commander once a year now instead of every 2-3 months :frowning: .

(I would like them to add more map too. It’s been those 15 maps for years now, last one added been a while)

I own all Commanders. Didn’t get any of them free except for the ones that start out free or come with LotV.

It’s not necessarily like we all bought all the commanders at once.
I bought each one as it came out, so we’re looking at a total of $60 over 5 years. That’s $12 a year to always have the newest commander on release. Extremely affordable! A bit less so if you are F2P and only started playing in the last 2-3 years, then you could be looking at as much as $30-40 a year for all commanders.

If you were to buy all at once, now that is not even an option for many players to just drop $90 but who would want to do that anyway besides people with excess cash to spend?
Just felt like breaking it down, maybe it will inspire someone.

For me, it is just too expansive for commanders.

(Even more now in those Covid-19 times for people like me who work in entertaining (no more work until Covid 19 is out).

But 6,26 $ Cad for commanders is too much in my opinion (saying "it’s just the money for x thing doesn’t work, because if so, we would have infinite money for all things that are less than 10$, wich isn’t the case. I pay for things I see as much value as the cost, wich is not the case here), so money are not, I won’t spend for them, even if they are fun. I just hope a Blizzard give away like they did for Fenix in 2018 (I missed that one… I could have Fenix!)

All of them, since I just brought them as they came out. It’s lunch money for one so it’s fine. I suppose buying them all now would really add up, but you could always just buy a new one every month or something.

Alarak, Nova, Stukov (got for free), Fenix, Zeratul, and Mengsk.

So five for me.

Don’t care about any of the others though (Abathur, Dehaka, H&H, Tychus, Stetmann).

I have purchased every single commander they’ve ever released on day 1, and I shall continue to do so for however long they continue to make them.

I always buy a commander on release and get them to 15 in a day or two
