There’s no way for P or Z to survive through mid game pressure.
You will be 1v2’ed by 4-8 reapers at the very start. This forces both P and Z to build very strangely. Also, sometimes (rarely) it doens’t happen, so now you’'re behind. Blind preparation for double reaper rush must be executed.
Then one goes full mech, other bio + drops. If you macro you die to 2 base all in. If you don’t macro, you lose anyway.
You are going to trigger terran cry babies with facts and they will just say protoss and zerg are op.

I finally beat the two master terrans as ZP.
Mass ling + fast bane speed upgrade. Protoss opens 2 oracle + 4-6 phoenix.
Transition to mass roach with armor upgrades + infestors, toss goes straight carriers behind it.
Nasty 40 minute game that involved lots of nukes vs my creep/spore forest with ghosts emping and sniping infestors. Ultimately the carriers broke through.
The real problem is it’s much easier for 2 Terran to cover each other’s weakness then it is for ZP to do so. Feels like you’re fighting Maru, even though they aren’t Maru.
Also…swarm hosts, vital for the spore/turret nuke/creep war.
10+ queens mandatory.
Be ready to neural 1/2 to 2/3 their bc’s is they attempt to teleport and yamato on top of your airtoss ally.
Don’t invest in viper tech, no time. Pure 2-2 roach/host/infestor.
Your protoss ally should use his phoenix to patrol both of the drop routes, no need to harass with them.
Protoss ally can skip HT tech since you have infestors.
Feed extra gas to toss. Have toss give you extra mins and spam those spores and spines and queens/tumors.
This is what it takes to destroy a master 2v2 terran team (both terrans were plat/diamond 1v1).

1 base all in. Your ally still needs to close the game.
I can’t even get my real life friend who I have a better rating than to understand that he needs to make Phoenix (at least 6, because Terran usually have 4-6 tanks) for any builds against Terran. I wish he did. This is a good post ^ tanks are what destroy my army, and if he just scooped them up, the Terran would be done for.
Ironically, phoenix is most important vs Terran in 2v2.
If you don’t go phoenix you will be (in order from most likely to least likely)
Mass bio/tank dropped or
4 port Hyperflighted (banshee) into BC/raven
Tank rushed before stim.
8 Blue flame hellion dropped,
or mine dropped.
As for the terran’s ally,
Zerg: You will be mutaed to death if no phoenix.
Toss:
You will be phoenixed to death if you don’t make phoenix.
You will never be able to leave your base. Period.
Spread the creep with 10-15 queens with a giant ball of ling bane, then go for lurkers and swarm hosts and spore/spine forest.
Going hosts gives you the ability to siege without broods. Your toss ally should have the heavy tier 3 air. Try to fungal hellbats/hellions on each locust attack. Eventually they wont have any hellbats left or any time to reproduce them, since carriers will be taking out vikings and thors.
Also it’s important that your protoss ally understands the importance of sentry + gshield for his air units. +2 armor on carriers is no joke vs vikings. 7 armor total at 3 armor ups.
There’s seriously no point in making other than phoenix in team games as protoss. It’s a mandatory unit.
