I am a SC2 diamond streamer that has been plagued by people cheating/stream sniping and constantly harassing me on twitch and in the SC2 game. While there are not many people doing it, there is a small group that constantly harasses more than others. One account washed#21403 has been going around to numerous streams and purposely queuing up at the same time in order to cheat and gain an advantage over their opponent. While constantly reporting them using the in game report feature, it feels like nothing is being done about it. We are on season 60 and this has been happening from the same account since seasons 55-56… I know its not a large issue to be receiving that much attention and that its an old game, but it has been plaguing the StarCraft 2 community for a while and I am not the only one that this happens to. I don’t claim to know how to stop these people or if banning their accounts would make them go away but my suggestion would be to make it harder for them to do so by somehow removing the “Searching for game” when someone messages your name. This is how the sniper sees when a certain person QUEUES up for a match even though they are blocked and you are on appear offline… I don’t know if that’s even possible to do… but perhaps someone on your side can take a look into it? I hope something can be done to mitigate this annoying issue some of us are having to go through.
Some might argue that streamers make up for a small percentage of players, but some of these people that are harassing me and a few other twitch streamers have been attacking us personally. This one washed#21403 guy has been calling me by my real name, exposing where I live, and somehow knows details about my personal life which he constantly messages my opponents about.
My hope is that someone at blizzard will read this post and while I continue to play, I will also continue to report these people every time I come across them.

Just an FYI, call out posts are against the TOS of the forums; you should be able to report it, but I don’t really have any other suggestions if that doesn’t work.

I understand this, but why have them able to see when you are queuing up for a match?? what purpose does this serve other than making it easier for them to do it…especially when you have them blocked and are appear offline… Why make it easy for people to cheat? it really does not make any sense

listen at the end of the day its as simple as this, its on you. Blizzard can not help you in anyway shape and form, as you are publicly broadcasting your gameplay. Now if you want to stop this put a delay on your stream and youll stop stream snipers 95% of the time.
not true my dude, its in blizzards code of conduct… if you would like me to TYPE IT out for you :
Exploiting other players is an equally serious offense. Scamming, account sharing, win-trading, and anything else that may degrade the gaming experience for other players will receive harsh penalties.
even if Im not streaming, the dude still snipes me, and hes taking part in degrading my game experience… so, LISTEN, all im saying is why have “searching for game” why not remove this when im blocking the guy?? why is it even a feature???
exploits in game are agianst code of conduct, how ever you are publicly broadcasting your gameplay to the world, this voids that. sorry your wrong on this one bud. and if you want to get rid of that searching ingame change your account status to not available, to others it looks like your offline.
Read more clearly please… it does not say exploits in game… it says exploiting other players… by throwing games to play lower ranked players only for the sole purpose of griefing falls under degrading my game experience… and once again… I still get sniped when not streaming… how hard is that to understand? and why would you be against removing “searching for game” thing if it would only benefit people… like how is that a bad thing?
again your publicly broadcasting your game, what ever you think its violateing it doesnt. not one bit. theres nothing blizzard can do about that.
and im not against removing the search thing, the problem you fail to understand is that blizzard doesnt have active development for starcraft 2 meaing, you aint getting features removed or added ever again, or atleast not anytime soon ( depending on what or if microsoft ever has plans for it). This game is basically on life support right now. do you understand that.
alright bud, since you clearly can’t comprehend what I’m saying, I submitted a ticket and blizzard told me to post here:
I understand that you are experiencing horrible things, and we surely don’t support this kind of behavior, we highly recommend you sharing your experience on forum and follow the link below to report it!
and the link brought me here… this is from a blizzard post… So please, explain to me why they say they don’t support this behavior and that I should continue to report them?
so here I am posting the suggestion
omg you are new to sc2 and blizzard arent you. alright, lets break this down for yah mr noob. Sc2 customer service is…well…automated. everything. secondly the forums definitly aint the place for this so i highly doubt thats even a true response from blizzard, im betting you just did that to get attention. your more than welcome to get a screenshot uploaded on imjur to prove us wrong. and i hope you do so i can laugh at that response from them if its actually true, cause thats honestly histerical. and the reason i find it untrue is they definitly wouldnt tell you to come here and out another player cause again as mentioned its against code of conduct on the forums and results in a ban, so them telling you to come here and post that knowing youll get banned for that is straght bs.
third, ingame and out of game reporting people doesnt do nothing, blizzard dont care no more.
fourth the forums are you talking to other players, its litterally just a discussion board for everyone who plays sc2, so how coming here is gonna help you in anyway shape or form other then to be theraputical by crying and complaing your sorrows to others, aint gonna help you in anyway.
