I just experienced a griefer in starcraft 3vsAI that I reported/blocked, but was matched 3 more times with. This person attacked both myself and the other teammate in all of these games. I’ve experienced a huge uptick in this kinds of griefers in starcraft 2 recently, and frankly, I’m pretty disappointed with how Blizzard handles it. They don’t do anything at all, and the griefers know that. Without moderation, the community can’t correct this unhealthy and bad behavior. I know Blizzard doesn’t care about starcraft 2 anymore, but I wish they’d do something about griefers because it’s going to kill their game entirely. It happens way too much.
And if you ever match with a player named “Smeagol” just quit immediately.

I’ve been grinding 3vsAI myself. Rank up to Elite so you won’t get those rage filled bottom dwellers on your team.

I play on elite but I just got knocked down a tier because I quit 4 games as I got rematched with the same griefer. It’s well known that Blizzard doesn’t do moderation work against griefers, so there’s not much to do.
Right bro, you just have to requeue. You’ll get good teamates. I’ve been knocked off elite down to very hard as well. Got some noobs on my team, 2 zergs specifically that really didn’t do anything.

People who violate the code of conduct and community guidelines by trying to intentionally ruin the experiences of others in the game. In this case, attacking your own teammates base while your army is out fighting the other team.
Those scumbags should be banned, the problem is that SC2 being free let them open new accounts and continue their antics.
I was thinking about technical means of solving that (ban the guy that damages/kills ally units), but that is impractical because system is unable to distinguish intentional (bad) fire from friendly-fire (Storm, Disruptor, WM etc).
Happens in low level team games and co-op as well. This has been an issue since 2010 and as far as I know, Blizzard has done very little if anything to deal with griefers. To add more fuel to the fire, they don’t do anything about people instantly leaving team games either. There’s no internal punishment system. Game’s been broken from the start.
It seems like nowadays theirs nothing but griefers in the 4v4 ranked.
