Give Ravagers Energy

Just a thought, but what if instead of Corrosive Bile being on a cooldown, what if they made it cost energy. It would decrease the spammable nature of the ability making the spell casting ability finite. The decision making would also be important, do you bile the forcefield, army, shield battery, etc? Also would add more counterplay as you could feedback or emp the ravagers. The full power of the push would also be delayed as newly morphed ravagers would have less energy to cast biles.

What about giving a Sentry FF cost 50 minerals?

Not at all comparable

The forcefield is already weak, why would you want to make it even worse?.The problem is not the cost, is that the forcefield gets denied every time because bile is a spammable spell.I have seen these days Partying trying to hold a simple ramp with 9-12 forcefields in just a few seconds, and that was a ramp, imagine how many ff’s would be needed in some open field scenarios.
Toss being weak against Z is mainly because in the past protoss could use forcefields to avoid being flooded, but nowadays forcefields are weak and zerg can overrun p with tons of roaches, banes or both.

I think you haven’t caught the idea, the ravager is supposed to be the counter to the ff. You can’t counter ravager with more sentries, when there are many ravagers it is time to make other units

Why randomly nerf a unit that’s not even close to overpowered??

Bad idea. Ravager is fine.

I think the Ravager is fine but Disruptor definitely needs to cost energy to use shots. As it is, it is a braindead unit and after 5 or 6 it is just infinite shots with game ending damage.

The ravager has the most spam able ability in the game. It’s not just about force fields it’s about limiting how much you can just continually use the ability.

You’re most biased person on the forums so your opinion doesnt matter and should just be ignored

Says the one whining about………… ravagers……

Adding a dynamic that makes them more than spam biles and makes the zerg actually have to use their brain about what to target isnt whining. But why bother with you, I think Kerrigan wants her good little boy back

It has the same cooldown as blink or charge and much more than lock on of the cyclone

And yet none of those do aoe damage

Protoss has 4 units with area damage. Isn’t it enough for you? You have the disruptors that just killing 2 ravagers with one shot was already cost efficient

And how many disruptors do you think you can get before a roach ravager all in is at your natural? Once again all I’m saying is that making it an energy unit would decrease the spamability of the unit and require the zerg player to actually think about how they chuck out biles, instead of just clicking where ever they want knowing that there’s plenty more where that came from. I mean blizz lways said they wanted to increase micro-counter micro. Who has to micro more against ravagers? try and dodge 10 ravagers just chucking corrosive biles everywhere

Also zerg has banelings, ultralisks, lurkers, PB, and fungal in addition to corrosive bile, so that’s 6 which is more than 4

This doesn’t make sense at all meanwhile giving ravager energy does have. It’s the only “spellcaster” in the game that doesn’t have energy.

If you have a replay I can tell you how to stop it

It is the first time that someone says that protoss do not have enough area damage

Just pointing out who has more
