Game Won't Start on macOS Monterey

The notification was like "StarCraft II has encountered an error while initializing your videocard. Please try starting StarCraft II again, or restarting your machine. If the problem persists, for more information consult our support website at http://blizzard.com/support." and report ID was 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000.
Has anyone had this issue before?

MacBook Pro 14 inch 2021, Apple M1 Pro chip, macOS Monterey 12.6.

Haven’t had the issue, but it sounds like you need to trash the SC2 folder and have BNet re-install it.

I have tried everything suggested, uninstalled Starcraft 2, and installing it again, changing the name of the computer on system preferences but still nothing, keep getting the same message over and over.

I also have the macbook pro M1 updated, MacBook Pro 14 inch 2021, Apple M1 Pro chip, macOS Monterey 12.6.
Keep getting the same error and have been unable to play the game for the past 3 months

Just double checking, you’ve removed all shared folders, etc. I’m assuming.

Can you remove Bnet using Appcleaner from freemacsoft?

Also in Bnet > Preferences > Game settings > SC2 > Reset in-game options

Then if it loads make sure graphics are set to metal. But I think at that point your problem would be fixed. You could also modify the install (same spot) and add another language - maybe force it to overwrite pref files or something that is messing things up?

Okay it works now after I reset the in-game options. I believe this may due to the Render API. Just set it to Metal and all are done. Thank you!
