Going strictly by XP, it takes about the same amount of time to level up all 17 COs to Mastery, as it does to level up from start of Mastery to start of Ascension!

17,765,000 XP vs. 18,467,500
If they add a n 18th CO, it’ll be 18,810,000 XP for all 18!

Although from the start of Ascension, you’ll need roughly 10x the amount of XP to reach the end of Ascension!

Then, leveling one commander (1045k XP) requires 21 random map brutal games with bonus (49.5k XP). 20 games, if you get at least 1 “first-win-of-the-day” bonus (10k XP).
If you play one specific map on brutal, you get 44k XP (with bonus), which means 24 games. 23, if you get at least 4 FWOTD.
