In fact if you go back back in my post history to early last year, you will see me arguing in favor of protoss and that protoss doesn’t need nerfs. Because they were doing poorly in tournaments (before the last patch). The problem is the last set of patches, in true Bliz style, went too far. Protoss is now the OP monster.
Fact is I am one of the few people on this forum who truly favors actual balance instead of any one race. Feel free to apologize to me after reading my post history, troll. Or if you don’t apologize here in the forum, at least privately realize that your record of being 100% laughably wrong is still safe and unbroken.
Dude the point is YOU claim “Korean Pro’s are saying Terran are Imbalanced and OP”. It’s the topic of YOUR thread. And I am posting on topic letting you know the fact that the overwhelming majority of Korean pros actually consider protoss to be the most OP race. By a huge margin. And I showed you direct evidence. You brought up the subject, and now you are getting angry at me for being on topic.
That video just strengthens the bias of Pro player who prefer their race. Terran players say Protoss are the strongest and Protoss players say Terran are the strongest.
If you agree that Protoss do not need to be nerfed then you are in fact agreeing that Terran is the race that needs the most nerfs. They have been overbuffed to the point that they are unbeatable at higher levels thanks to Widow Mines and EMP.
First - you misunderstood my post. I said 18 months ago I was against nerfing protoss. Now, 2 patches later, protoss appears to be very very strong. At least. Maybe more than that.
Second - no, agreeing that one race does not need nerfs is not the same thing as saying another race does need nerfs. For one thing, that doesn’t even make sense. For another, terran is behind both zerg and protoss in tournament stats. I think it is 100% completely unsupported by any objective statistic or result or poll that terran needs nerfs.
Third - The game is mostly end of lifed by Blizzard. I’m not so sure the current state of protoss will be sufficient for a patch. This may just be how the game is for a while. Enjoy your 50 APM race.
How did u end up with that stupid conclusion? So not only protoss don’t need nerf but terran needs. Firstly don’t try to find the pink elephant beneath with mules because mules drop is made to match exactly protoss economy yet protoss still on more bases.
The build and run probe design allows for workers to always be on gathering
Ofc u newb dont consider that building multiple structures can leave u 5 workers away from resource. That’s why mule exists.
In late game u can spam mule but that’s hardly like protoss doesn’t have that much, cases where Mule can decide game is if both have no workers but Terr has a base… some super rare case of BASE TRADE

Not to mention that this fool forgets that mules can only gather minerals, which hardly matter in a long game. Basically mules are (nearly) completely useless later on as all terran best units: ghots, BC, thors, libs, ravens require immense amount of gas. If mules could gather gas then the claim they are OP would be justified.

Now to get down to the balance discussion again. Please show data on how spamming mule drops does NOT push a Terran economy past a Protoss one putting Terran on par with Zerg.
Also please provide data on how EMP does not completely invalidate a Protoss army since they buffed the impact area.

This replay is a perfect example of how OP Terran are. Granted this player was maphacking and it was painfully obvious but just look at how fast he hits 3-2 and just spams MMM with widow mines. My army stood absolutely no chance even with overcharge. He just keeps sending in MMM then throws in vikings and thanks to mule spam he has the resources to do so.
Factually wrong, please go on aligulac and notice how PvT is currently Protoss favoured. That is statistical proof that your diamond 3 perception of the game cannot contest.

Almost nobody is qualified enough to have a valid opinion about the balance of this game. I don’t really understand how some many people think they know how to balance the game.
Well these Terran players are just trolls. EMP + Anti armor missiles are the most imbalanced thing I have ever seen in a game.
Protoss are supposed to have spells and units to compensate for the fact that the other 2 races can outproduce them, you take away those counters with 1 ability and yet somehow you think Protoss is OP?
It’s like arguing with 1st graders…no logic whatsoever.
Protoss opener is pure garbage – no gas, double gate, 3 pylon before expand, seems to think inbase slow zealot pressure is a thing. It’s like he hasn’t heard of the Pla…Maxpax build.
He then turtles up with cannon/SB at his natural while going into…every tech path, all at once with a crappy 2base economy.
and I do mean EVERY tech path. Stargate? Check. Twilight? Check. Robo? Check. Let’s research +1 attack and zealot charge, but make mostly sentries/stalkers from our warpgates. You know what goes great with +1 ground attack? Voidrays. And you know what goes great with void rays? Double forge. Get an immortal because we can, now throw in a dark shrine for good measure.
And do you know what’s better than getting robo, twilight, stargate, dark shrine double forge on two-base? Going up to 2x Stargate, 2x Robo and robotics bay on two base
Against all this the terran player is using the incredibly unfair strategy of–getting a 3rd so you can mine from when your natural is saturated.
