I have a close friend who plays as Protoss, I play as Zerg, and most every day when I am sharing awesome games I play, he always starts saying things similar to “Zerg is Imba” and that the only reason people beat Protoss is because “Its too hard” etc etc. And I say to that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Protoss honestly has it EASY, they can cue up wayyy imba units at Stargate and Robo, and then can warp in god knows how many units WHEREVER THEY WANT as long as they have a warp prism. Zerg isn’t “imba” it takes countless hours of work to get remotely mediocre, creep spread, counters, transitions, injects, macro, micro- its just nuts, Protoss have the easiest time, almost no micro, simple macro, literal murder cannons that kill everything, and a ship that shoots bugs!?!? Honestly, Terran has the hardest time, it is so complicated to macro, (kinda ez micro). Zerg has to be runner up, maybe even #1 but Protoss, all you need is a brain and a few fingers- if you are a Protoss who complains about “it being too hard” just don’t try terran for a week and see how you feel, its not imba, it just takes practice, and if you don’t put in the practice then its kind of frustrating to hear Protoss complain, so I say- Enough is Enough.

Everyone is always going to have their preconceived notions of what race is easiest and it always comes from an incredibly warped and biased perspective. In reality they all have things they can do better and worse than the other 2.

It doesn’t mean that some races aren’t easier to play at certain levels of the game.
At the very high end, it is pretty consistent overall. Not completely, but is not too bad.
At lower levels, there are definitively easier races than others.
Also, playstyle influences people’s ideas a lot. It isn’t a preconceived notion, it’s a matter of x is weak vs y, and they always do y.

I disagree with that. Ask people at lower level what race is easiest and you are going to get all kinds of answers. No race is easiest at any level of play. Like just for example zerg is easiest for me. I got the hang of zerg way faster than I did with Toss or Terran. Now before everyone freaks out, I’m not saying zerg is easiest. I just find it easiest to play for my personal play style.

The play style bit I agree with. Some people just get the hang of a race faster than the others. People 100% have biased opinions on balance. Your example is the perfect depiction of it.

The preconceived bit mostly comes from the people they choose to watch on twitch. I see it the most with terran streamers. A lot of them are always whining about some race. Thus influencing their viewers.

Ive played every race when i first started playing and i found terran to be the more complicated of the bunch. Terran easily has the most units in the game and too many damn building for everything which makes it hard for a beginner to remember whats all for what. Protos is in the middle not as many unites and building as terrans but other mechanics you need to worry about such as pylon placement and other stuff like that, but is less confusing then terran is. Toss was my main for the longest time till i tried playing zerg for awhile and now zerg is my main. and as a beginner zerg is easier theres a lot less units, and alot less buildings, again im just stating this as i seen it when i first started playing and this is my own humble opinion. Now ive been playing zerg for about 2 years now and i prefer zerg over the other races cause it fits my play style. I used to like toss for there air but found mutas are more for me rather than my usually void ray plays as toss. But again it all depends on how you play the game. If your the kind of person that just wants to build massive bases with alot of d terran is probably more your style, where as zerg is a more agressive race and toss pretty much in the middle on that call, they can be both agressive and turtle there way to victory with enough cannons and pylons and sheild batterys.

Zerg is the most easiest similiar to terran. Nothing skillfull bout that. mass unitsand then “fake micro”. Terrans thinks, if they stim and a move, and then run a bit forward or backwards or kiting some lsow zealot, that they have superiour micro or somthing :smiley:

zerg thinkst if they attacking with ling/roaches/ravagers, that is hard micro KEPPO
