So the warp prism is not a unit I typically make (being in silver league and all) but I had to make one to get out of my walled off base the other day (playing against zerg) and I immediately noticed just how crazy far away it could pick up my probe and how fast it is…again it’s not a unit I typically use. And Ive been seeing the same thing while watching pro league crazy fast warp prisms that seems faster than an overlord or medivac…and their pick up range is actually insane.

The theoretical grandmaster learned about warp prisms today.
No. They are not op. The pickup Range was nerfed. And they are more or less like medivacs. Medivacs are hella fast too with afterburn and if reinforcements come in to clear the Drop You can pick up and Fly away.
Arguably warp prisms are btw the strongest in pvp because of the micro potential. It is like blink

yes with afterburn but Im saying regular speed…anyway its arguable because of the pickup range which I think is crazy…the range needs a nerf at the very least.
And in what way is a 1 game master player LOL a “theoretical grandmaster”?? You will never reach GM either so I wouldn’t talk…you’re just protecting your overpowered race…the fact that Trap can pick up a game off like just one bad engagement over Serral says it all…Trap looked pathetic and he won anyways

I actually can achieve gm 0.o i have shown You 5k matches i had but You didnt react to Them. NA gm is very easy to achieve. You only need 5k mmr.
You got that wrong btw. YOU are the theoretical gm. The guy that would be gm if he learned hotkeys

Have you ever heard of a part time gamer? That is somebody who doesn’t spend 100% of his time typing on the forums and playing ranked 1v1s specifically?? Maybe a guy who has a full time job and a girlfriend??? Ever heard of such a thing? Maybe a guy who god forbid wants to to queue up a Versus AI game or custom game co-op game every once in a while…I mean your profile is boring af bud…plus you have Kachinsky as your profile pic…try getting some air once in a while…and btw I dont believe you actually achieved GM but even if it you did it was probably “Cannon Rushing With Shield Batter Overcharge And Void Rays To GM” series or some BS like that.
He still wouldnt Build 4 Depots. It takes like 5 Minutes to learn that building 4 Depots before rax is not the way to Play. I mean even in tutorial they suggest you a better Build order. Have You ever seen a pro match ? Or other guys playing? When and why did it occur to You that You should Build 4 Depots before rax? This has Nothing to do with how little time You have left to Play the game. Its about that You dont have a clue about basic Build Orders at the start of the game. I wouldnt blame You if You would fast expand but still building second Depot and second Gas early. But building 4 Depots is unheard of. Not a Single noob i have coached did this.

NO. Prisms are fine and they suffered not one (range nerff) but three nerffs those last years (Range AND HP nerff AND cost nerff).
Please Mr “i used Prism yesterday and whined and theorycrafted today” educate yourself that Races are different and their units are different also. Pay attention to the posts of people that know the game 1000 times better and deeper than you (Sentry), and thank him for educating you free of charge.
You could also ask him kindly if he has time to coach you (with payment) in his spare time.
This way you would not embarrass yourself with posts of the type: “Yesterday i came along X unit and …”.
Just saying.

Prism is really good, no doubt at bout that, but it is really weak against damage, any air unit that hits air can kill it, so it’s a high risk high reward unit, protoss gameplay many times works around the prism so if the prism dies there is a high chance the protoss can lose the advantage or even the game.
If your league is low, you can abuse the prism and get free wins, at that level there is no map awareness, just be sure there is no turrets around the borders of the enemy base and fly over them with the prism, low level players tend to fill the base with mostly useless turrets in random places compared to higher leagues, but that’s not a P exclusive, any kind of drop in low levels can be game ending, drop+attack at the same time usually ends in a win.
wtf, I hope the depots at least blocked something and didn’t have any gap between them.

They nerfed it multiple times already. Leave it alone. You whiners cried so hard pretty much every Protoss 2 base allin strategy was effectively deleted from the game

Comparing Prism with Medivacs when Medivacs costs gas and don’t spawn infinite amounts of units directly into enemy base.
the man you worship (Sentry) doesnt know how to play the game himself and his profile shows that. And the warp prism has NOT been nerfed barely at all if any since 2010 and IT IS still faster than an overlord or medivac AT NORMAL SPEED. Medivac and Overlord BOTH require an upgrade to equal the warp prism’s speed. Who is really educating who here??? And no Im not getting coached by a guy who only plays ranked 1v1s (mostly cheesing and all ins) I have better things to do with my time and I rather play teams, co-op, versus AI and so on. How about both of you coaching yourselves on how to have a life and real friends OUTSIDE of starcraft.
