You say disconnect, but can you describe the actual error you got? Like did it boot you to the main menu, crash to desktop, something else?

Ethernet… cat 8 direct to cable, no it’s not my routers, everything else was still live ping to web, I said this above, I minimized window in window and checked a browser… during the disc… and I run multi-week uptime with no issues on anything, especially connection… and um, I literally dont have wifi, I turned it off, I’m that l337… was I on wifi… you have wifi? What about an emf detector? Old enough to have read the hazards to humans, domestic animals, and PLANTS within 25 FEET warning that used to be on the back of all the routers and modems? Or are you a post section 230 tech baby… or do you not read the back of ur router…
next time it happens pull the ethernet cable and plug it back in real quick. it should reconnect you asap mine used to do it all the time too.
let me know if that works for you, i know it sounds crazy but its a bug thats been around for awhile, i dont know if it has to do with the router not communicating properly while ethernet is the connection or what. Im gonna go out on a guess here and say it only happens in high intense moments in the game that would cause major lag in most cases. If so thats exactly like what used to happen to me.
