Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Balance Guy the fired?

I thought not. It’s not a story the devs would tell you. It’s a Starcraft legend. Balance Guy was a Dark Lord of the balance patch, so powerful and so wise he could use the editor to influence the game stats to create ZvZ finals… He had such a knowledge of the protoss nerf that he could even keep the races he cared about from losing.

The dark side of the nerf is a pathway to many balance changes some consider to be retarded. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his job, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, his boss needed more money for a lambo, so his boss fired him in his sleep. It’s ironic, he could save pro zerg’s carreers, but not his own.

It is precisely the Protoss ho would know the most about it, since we are taking most of the nerf barechested.

Remember WM that was invisible from the get go, Raven that could deal damage and made PDD and had auto-turret that lasted 60 seconds, Cyclon that could fight head-on and most importantly Liberator dealing 7 AA damage and 85 ATG damage? Libs used to 2-shot Stalkers and one shot Hydra from the get go. Now you need +2 to 2-shot Stalkers and you will never 1-shot Hydra.

Nerfs to Libs, Raven and WM were MASSIVE…

Oh wow, the OP race got a few nerfs, to their OP counter-all units.
Cannot wait for the Marine and Thor nerfs.

Marine doesn’t need any nerfs. Thor needs to have it’s HIP range reduced by 1. Then it’ll be fine again.

It really doesn’t.

Instead Broodlords should get a speed upgrade so they can kite or Mutalisk should get a late game upgrade that makes them better vs armored targets but no glaive bounce like in campaign and co-op.

Thors currently counter all air units. All of them, the issue has nothing to do with Broodlords, it has to do with Thors being super Goliaths that out range everything in the sky in all MUs.

Do they?. Unless you are saying 1 mutalisk should beat 1 thor…

The Chad Thorliath

Now he works for activision and balances team deathmatch for the campers.

FightClub remarks nice
Btw i would fire whole balance team and hire insect, even flies are smarter than this team…

You know exactly what he is talking about. Thor anti air capabilities are idiotic. They just dont beat everything in the sky. they steamroll everything in the sky and it’s not even close. Nothing can trade except BCs that jump on top of them and yamato

Prove it in unit testers.

Thors don’t counter all air units are you bronze league ? Answer to that yes you are. If protoss go carriers and he see you going thors, he adds immortals underneath, or disruptors. Mech can’t fight this army, thors lose and it is not even close…
Vs zerg, lurker insta siege and vipers good luck with sh …

Play some 4v4 and see for yourself .Thors beat mass Capital Ships.Void Ray,Muta,Banshee stand no chance in direct fight (for obvious reasons) only mass Tempest has the potential to one shot a Thor.In order to do that, you need to stack your Tempest fleet, which only makes it easier for the Thors to absolutely wreck you with AOE AA

Yesterday Showtime played against Clem and in some game he had a really hard time beating his mass thor+liberator, Showtime had a bank, and Clem was just turtling with his last couple of bases after some kind of basetrade.Showtimes army was disruptor+8 carriers, which couldn’t really approach thors because at the moment they were near, thor missiles hit them, and Clem had a lot, so just one second of interceptor release was almost enough to kill a carrier. Didn’t see the end of the game,Showtime won, last thing he was doing was moving all the time trying to catch the thors with disruptors and trying to make tempest, because carriers were a dead weight at that moment.
