The best Zerg in Korea just got dominated by a player he’s historically owned and TY admitted that Terran is strong against Zerg. But hey, I guess it’s time for more Zerg nerfs?
Amazing that the clinching game was a failed proxy rax by TY and he still ended up winning a macro game. lol, just ridiculous that this is even a possiblity.
Zerg got dominated in GSL and is the worst performing race in weekly cups by far. Yet somehow people are still whining about the race being OP…
Thanks to protoss removing the obstacle of the korean terrans. And lets not pretend that Zerg’s 2 code s wins is even remotely comperable to Terran’s 8.
That’s not the point and you know it. If the region lock weren’t holding back the worlds best terrans, zerg and protoss would never win another tournament.
Dark is 6.8k mmr for crying out loud. Ty is 6.2k. He is nowhere near Korea’s strongest terran and he just manhandled Korea’s best zerg and made it look easy. All while terran has a 70% winrate in TvZ, dominates masters league and while winning the majority of esl cups. Zerg is utter trash against terran when the skill representation is equal.
The Region lock was Introduced to block Korean pro players to win every single tounament in Eu while not playing with the weaker Eu and Us player at that time .
I hate to admit but yes The TvZ matchups got a lot easier when they removed the Infested Memes and GGlords from the Zerg go to list. But still we want to work towards a more balanced game but its still a long way till there.
Winning GSL is not “dominating”. Zerg didn’t overperform in S1, S2 or super tournament. Dark and Rogue just happened to win but Zerg was not over represented.
So Terran winning 6 in a row was the most broken a race has ever been. lol, damn is that logic stupid.
Oh right, Zerg isn’t allowed to win tournaments. Forum logic at it’s finest. I honestly don’t know how you people function in real life with this type of warped thinking.
And to think in a years time zerg was even dominating more than that.
The phrase “just happened to win” is a phrase that is pretty close to assuming that it was mostly luck involved rather than the obvious balance issues at the time when zerg was dominating.
