Coop Mode Resources

Coop Resources

Since the new forum required higher trust levels, this post was kind of left incomplete. I thought it might be useful to have a more concentrated place to find some good resources out there for Coop Mode.

Hope this is helpful for some

TeamLiquid Coop Guides

The link is to Tychus's Guide, which is their latest as of the creation of this post (Zeratul and Stetmann to be added). It is a good resource for a general idea on how to play each of the commanders. You can click to other commanders through Tychus's page.

It is important to note that some information are not updated, like the recent Stukov changes.

Mastery Power Set

As it is Reddit, there is a ton of information. This links directly to the masteries.

Level/Experience Breakdown

The website has way more than just the experience breakdown but the link is to that specifically for easy access.

Mutator List

This is another website that has way more than just a nicely laid out mutator list.

Weekly Mutations & Speedrun Records

Both of these are in a google document. It is a bit of a table to scroll through but it has records for mutations and speed runs.

Discord Link

This one is self-explanatory. For those interested in joining a community to play coop, here's a link to over 1400 members as of this post.

Trust Level and Format Guide

For those interested in better formatting your posts. Here's a nice topic created not specific for Starcraft 2 Coop but serve well enough for all intended purposes.
  • The Ultimate Forum Guide
There seem to be differences in trust level requirements for SC2 Coop from my own experience.

Oh yeah, if there’s a way to pin a topic that’d be awesome. Not getting ahead of myself here but honestly the resources made by these people are awesome and worthwhile being shown to players.

Too bad that a good number of TL guides are out of date and aren’t being updated at all.

I’d add to the list some good learning resources like CtGs How to Play Co-Op Commanders.
Perhaps others have good video guides as well?

And an info image of all the enemy comps:

Can’t post that 2nd one properly due to permissions.

There are definitely more than I posted. I’d definitely urge everyone to contribute in their post. This way all of the resources would be in a single topic :sunglasses:

The only co-op source I need is starcraft2coopcom, my NUMBER ONE SOURCE for all things starcraft2coop.

It definitely is a great site

I feel like you might as well link CtG’s YouTube:

And Hunter’s twitch:

I use the StarCraft 2 Wikia site…
Huh… can’t post links. Used to be able to do that. I’ll have to revisit this

It covers lore and theme as well. I like how I can look up unit stats, their costs, and how they compare to their campaign counterparts.

You can post links to ā€œsafeā€ sites @ level 2, e.g. blizz, youtube, etc. It’s links to anything else that requires level 3.

The ones I included are a little less known so to speak. Most people use YouTube and/or Twitch. Those are definitely great resources.

I know what you mean, but I’ve helped plenty of less experienced players who hadn’t thought, or didn’t know where to look, for good commander video guides. But hey, they may not even use the forums anyway.

Lol so true. There’s like maybe 50-100 active forum posters. I often remind myself that everything on here need to have this crucial context.

?? how do you tell what level you are? I thought it would be in our profile.

So we need to worry about leveling up in Coop, as well as the Coop forums!?

You can go to your profile then in the URL add ā€œ.jsonā€.

This will bring you to a weird source code page. Use the find function to search for ā€œtrustā€. It should highlight whatever trust level you are at.

And no you don’t really need to level it up in the forum. Check out the resource in the OP. Unless you really want to post external links or pictures.

Trust level decays with time, though it can be brought back up.

Glad to see these resources are getting used lol.

It also only tracks clicks from unique users!

More people seem to be interested in the mastery sets and formatting on this forum hehe

Wow, very cool. I’m not sure of my trust level, but let me see if I can make those proper links for you…
