I’m new to CoOP … but for the past games (4 of them) i saw that my ally has a “hero” than is playing with. I plaied with teran with Raynor … can i summon him? Or i need a bigger level? I don’t understand what is going on :))

Only the following commanders have any hero units that you can have from the start of the game: Kerrigan, Zagara, Alarak, Nova, Fenix, Dehaka, Tychus, Zeratul, and Stetman. All other commanders do not have “hero” units (Unless Abathur’s UEs are heroic units).

Each CO has different strengths and weakness, which includes some having Hero’s, while others favor a stronger army. Taking the 3 starting CO’s of Raynor, Artanis, and Kerrigan.
Kerrigan is the only one with a true hero that stays (aside from the enemy rudely shooting her).
Raynor focuses on the army side of things, but can temporarily summon heroes like the Hyperion. However, it’ll only last for a minute before warping off again.
Artanis doesn’t get any kind of heroes, but can still shoot some lazors from orbit, and can get a “second life” on any unit that would otherwise have been killed.
So in short, some CO’s have heroes you can use the whole game, some can summon a temporary hero to help you push, and some don’t have any heroes they can summon. Each one is vastly different.

Not all commanders have a Hero Unit.
In Raynor’s case, he’s in the Hyperion Battlecruiser unit, which is a timed calldown rather than a permanent unit.
It does far more damage though… so don’t feel bad.

Actually, Fenix need a calldown unlike the others that eventually appear on their own.
Do we consider Fenix P1 a top bar or a hero unit?
Zagara P1 also does not have a hero unit.
It can be both “a hero unit” and “a top bar”. These are not mutually exclusive. Just like Mothership is called down, doesn’t make it any less of a hero unit in P3. The difference is in whether it’s timed life or permanent until killed. The cost itself has nothing to do with it either.
Similarly, would people call outlaws (aside from Tychus) all just units? No, they are hero units. Are they calldowns? No because it’s not a top bar. So is P3 Odin hero or a calldown? It’s still a calldown cuz it’s got timed life. And like many calldowns, they are hero units that have timed life. Hyperion being one of them as well.
I was separating Fenix due to it not being a hero you “get without doing anything” compared to the others.
And I didn’t get into the prestiges, because it seems the OP is new to the game, and by the time he reach the prestiges, he would probably know more and no longer be on this question somehow

Well, if his whole army are “heroes”, then are there really any heroes relatively speaking

Tychus has “Outlaws”. They’re completely different from “Heroes”.
