Community update where, when?

There is no community update listed here. Btw there was no community update since march or so. Nice job j3rking in the office and getting paid for nothing… When do you fix protoss economy. 3 base protoss vs 2 base terran wow so fair !!!..
And when viper and infestors get nerfed + carriers and tempest. Raven was nerfed, that is now completely useless and deal no splash damage. Zerg vipers can instantly kill 20 vikings with 2 parasitic bomb, it happens in pro games all the time. But terran has no splash, how is anti armor missle gonna matter, when you have no vikings to shoot enemy ait units down. Previously you could kill units with raven, now it can’t even use its abilities on corruptors and broodlords. Only terran have unit, which is forbiden to use its abilities. Raven is basically cosmetic unit. It has no abilities, does literally nothing… SO joke…

On a second thought this option to have “likes” visible is a good one! For example i can now see who has the temerity to upvote this trash and target them instead!

see? if no one reacts to your posts,it means no one cares about you. Is even worse that calling someone’s attention by saying dumb things.
Now being “toxic” or saying dumb things is worth nothing, literally not even a dislike.

I couldn’t take you seriously op.

I have to agree with that notion. We get to see who is fueling some of the nonsense.

See? In the old way we would never get to know that Terranicll and Ravager would agree to this trash. I don’t know Ravager (yet) but would never have considered that the other poster would take this BS to the hart.

There may not be down votes but the ability to see who upvotes what is going to be great.

Honestly its much better then the down vote system IMO

Both of these mindsets is what’s more concerning to me over the old down-vote system.

While it may have been abused there were a bunch of stupid posts (on D3 forums as well) that deserved to be downvoted/hidden because they were straight up stupid and/or abusive.

So essentially now if someone ‘likes’ the “wrong” opinion you want to be able to see that, to do what exactly? Publicly target them in a post and/or reply to them saying “how dare you press the like button on this!?!”

It is a little disturbing that some people are so concerned to know who likes (or dislikes) someone else’s post.

I mean there are obvious ones as well where if the person is being straight up toxic you’d wonder why they ‘liked’ it. Honestly, why do you care if you can see who likes something or not?

Why exactly?
What do you intend to do to stop someone pressing the ‘like’ button on a post you dislike?

Just wait and see. Look: not all people are so dumb, thick skinned and morally-blind. A good percentage has a minimum of intellectual honnesty and pride in that. To openly support some trash has a certain impact on the personal credibility of someone.
You are wrong on another account: i don’t want to STOP people to like some trash, on the contrary: i want them just in the open.

Tbh, you sound like one of those people on Facebook who if someone were to ‘laugh react’ to a joke, whether one thinks it’s in bad taste or not; to tag them and try to entice the public to dogpile them.
I could be wrong, but judging by couple of yours guy’s comments here and attitude I don’t think I am that far off.

Out of all the years on multiple Blizzard forums there have been people who made good arguments that have been downvoted because why not jump on a bandwagon or what have you.

What? Do you realize what you just said?

A few reasons.

One. If someone posts something pants on head stupid and it has a ton of upvotes then we get to see who is supporting these ridiculous ideas.

Second. Now we can see who exactly is dog piling who. This can be used to showcase the factions on these boards this tends to have a more negative consequence for these groups as well.

And then what? Tag/call them out? For merely pressing a ‘like’ button.
While there may be obvious posts which are trollish and toxic, you, nor anyone else are not the arbiters or what is bad or good opinion.

How is pressing a ‘like’ button dog piling? People have opinions. Some like an opinion and some don’t. They expressed this with the dislike button as well. Neither was bad or good.

Showcase which people belong to what faction here? What? We have factions now?
My goodness, you sound even more extreme that the other poster above.

Someone presses a like button on a post and now you’ve arbitrarily decided to group them into some “faction” that should suffer consequences?
What kinds of consequences should someone suffer for pressing a ‘like’ button; regardless if they’re a troll or part of some faction you decided to lump them into. Do you want them banned from the forum for pressing a heart-shaped button? Blizzard to lock their SC2/battle.tag to stop them from playing?

This is a video game, not politics.
I think it might be best to remember that.

There are going to be trolls and negative people on forums always. Removing the ‘dislike’ button will not change that.

Call them out is one such option. Or you could just disregard what they say when it comes to certain topics. This helps a ton in figuring out how full of baloney some people really are.

This place has always had factions.

Okay but telling people blatantly false information is not the same as merely having an opinion.

Oh it will change things. Now you have to actually discuss instead of merely hitting a button and leaving. Its a good change.

People can still hit the like button on something you personally deem to be unacceptable…and leave. Unless you plan on calling them out and starting a witch hunt, which sounds increasing like the kind of mindset you have.
Rather disturbing.
I can hit the like button all I want on threads that you or someone else might deem the wrong opinion and leave. You cant stop me or anyone else from just leaving.
Or they can respond if they choose. Or not.

You seem to think people are going to magically behave better without a dislike button.
You especially seem to think this with veiled threats of “calling them out”.
It’s going to have the opposite effect I believe.

I’m talking about opinions on X or Y aspect of the game, not factual statements.

Thanks, this pretty much proves my point.

I don’t know what point you are trying to make but these are forums if you aren’t here to debate why are you here?

Because Zerg having any viable comp is wrong.

A-move thors kill vipers before they do anything.

Amazing that Terrans will actually whine about TvZ when it’s so in their favour.

OH MY GAWD, terran has to MICRO!?!?!? BLIZZARD fix terran IMMEDIATELY!

The viper is the best unit Zerg has. Would it be asking too much to require it to have its own building (like a dt shrine)? As is, Zerg may as well just have hatch units, lair units, and hive units that require no specific buildings, such as a hydra den, roach warren, etc, etc.

When a unit looks so obviously broken, with EVERY spell it has, then it’s hard to give “benefit of the doubt,” when the viper is clearly exempt from following the same rules as every other unit in the game. The viper is far more of a hero unit than the mothership core was.

The only purpose of being allowed to make more than 4 vipers is to ensure the Zerg can counter every single unit in the game, easily, with 1 type of unit.
