I got Raynor to level 12 yesterday, then after logging in today 1/23/24 after server maintenance, he’s level 5… help

Idk what type of development they are doing but it looks like this bug is built into their modules and several teams are re applying it after every patch. It seems they just don’t care about the casual players that do the 8 coop missions they got.

Well that’s a bit reductive, kables.
Hi MVP of customer support, that’s also a bit unconstructive and unhelpful. You haven’t done anything to confirm or deny their claims or put any effort whatsoever into moving toward a fix. You simply just decided to spend time, like I’m doing now, to attack a user for what they’re saying rather than address the issue (which many are facing and now reporting on and posting about) that is causing them to express frustration etc.
I don’t have a tag saying I’m an MVP of customer support but somehow I have the presence of mind to recognize that maybe something is going on here and it isn’t the users job to sort it out. It is the responsibility of the company to be empathetic and alert to changes that occur as a result of their actions and to seek out information that results in both a fix of the initial problem and also resolves the frustration and brand damage in the mind of the customer.
There is something going on here with a history. It has been reported on and fixed by the company before and that’s all we want. We want the company to apply the fixes and (if we can be so bold) to actually learn from this so it doesn’t happen again and again. It’s not too much to ask, even from Blizzard 2024.

It doesn’t take an MVP to do that. Research and observation, and even simply inquiring, make it possible for anyone.
Development ended in 2020.

Im sorry, Contemplativ, but nothing I said was an attack, not in the least. It was accurate, free of exaggeration and hyperbole and presented civilly.
MVPs aren’t employees, meaning I can’t do anything beyond helping bring issues to Bliz’s attention as I find them.
By all means, express frustration but do so in a constructive way. Not in a hyperbolic, diminutive, misinformative way.

If you’re referring to my reply, mine is nothing like the overtly admitted attack of presumptions and errors against me.
It’s unfortunate someone would find countering an attack by simply presenting facts and correcting misrepresentations as hostile, AmiableAnne.
I’m just curious if my commander’s levels will be reinstated to their original levels or if i have to work my way back up. also seems i still can’t pass level 5 without purchasing the game, which i have + HotS. thank you for your insights and help.
Each time this has happened in the past, levels have been restored when it was fixed.
this was 6 days ago and the game is still broke…
Typically it takes a week to fix. However, keep in mind there was just a massive layoff across all of ATVI, so there might be some interruptions in the usual day to day operations.
Asia Server, 3 free commanders are stuck at level 5. Problem happended to new and old account. Help

It’s an issue on the server side, so there’s no player-based solutions.
Since this topic is the topmost one in Bug Report, I’m posting this reminder here: when the officials say “keep posting”, they probably mean in the topic where they intervened in Tech Support.
Long time no play game. Today I tried to play coop, and then ‘Commander level reset to 5’ happened again as you guys know. Since 2023 this bug has happened over and over again and this has been forth time for me. Please fix it as soon as possible, thx very much.
