Can we have some voice lines between the commanders greet each other every time a coop mission starts?
Like Raynor or Kerrigan express their mixed feelings when ally with Tychus and/or Mengsk or happy to be allied with Artanis and/or Zeratul.

For this to happen, they would have to bring in all the voice actors to record such lines. And that ain’t cheap.
Is it worth cost? What would it actually add to the co-op experience?

Well fun fact, mengsk does have voice lines for both Raynor and Tychus.
Raynors is triggered by calling down the hyperion, which mengsk will commit something along the lines of:
“that piece of junk still runs?”
and when tychus calls down the odin he’ll have a couple lines, like one of which is :
“Remember who holds your collar, Mr Findley”
Basically a Newer commander (like mengsk) will have reactions to older commanders, but it doesn’t work the other way (they aren’t going to pull in Everyone’s voice actor every time they release a new commander that the older commanders might react to.)
Sure but these are triggered by events and are not greetings as is suggested.
Plus these are only a start. For the rest of them, call in the voice actors.
There is a bunch in the editor for older commanders, which were made preemptively for future commanders. For example even before anyone was added Raynor had a line for Tychus, and Zagara has one for the Overmind.
They dropped this however, I expect since they didn’t want to have to predict every future commander. I hope we’ll see more of the retroactive interactions like Mengsk has though, it was a super cool idea that doesn’t require bringing back the old VAs.
They could also probably reuse quotes from campaigns, announcers and Heroes of the Storm.
