Commander Concept: Izsha

What we know about Izsha:
Izsha is a creature of logistics. She was created as an adjutant in all but name, meant to manage the high-level decisions and direct the flow of resources to the swarm. Izsha is playing a fundamentally different game from everyone else, her game play should reflect that…

Izsha: The Macrocommander, or Director of the Swarm
*The only entities Izsha directly controls are Drones, Structures, and Nobles (Queens and Fast Overlords).

*Izsha can grant individual Nobles minerals/second and/or vespene/second so they can build and upgrade their own swarms of Zerg units. How powerful a Noble’s units become and how quickly a Noble builds up their swarm depends on the resources/second they’re given.

*In addition, many Nobles possess powerful auras, buffs, and abilities that get stronger when they’re fed resources/second.

*When Izsha gives an Attack, Patrol, Move, or Attack-Move order to a Noble, their swarm will follow suit, but Izsha can’t micro a Noble’s units directly.

*Izsha can spawn specialized Nobles with powerful abilities and preferences for the units and upgrades they cultivate for their swarms. For Example:…

-The Fortress Queen aggressively spreads creep and passively builds defensive structures on nearby creep. She prefers ranged ground units and armor upgrades. The Fortress Queen provides HP regeneration to all nearby allied structures and units. The strength of her regeneration aura depends on the resources/second she’s currently given.

-The Rush Lord prefers to spawn fast, inexpensive ground units and provides a Movespeed buff to all nearby units that scales with the resources/second he’s granted.

-The Lord of the Sky and Siege Queen prefer air superiority and long-range units respectively, and have abilities meant to help their specialized retinues accomplish their goals.

-Other Noble’s in Izsha’s army include:
-Queen of Greed
-Lord of War
-Queen of Growth
-Lord of Spies

TopBar: Izsha can leverage her logistical expertise to provide extra resources to her Nobles, or call in high-ranking commanders of the swarm to aid her.

Swell The Ranks: For 10 seconds, every Noble in Izsha’s army gets an additional 100 Minerals/second and 25 Vespene/second. (This does not produce any actual minerals or vespene for Izsha)

Primal Stampede:
Pick target location. A straight line will be drawn from Izsha’s hatchery to the chosen location. Primal Zerg will then stampede along that line from one edge of the map to the other.

Summon Stukov:
Choose a section on the edge of the map. A controllable Stukov (with timed life) will appear there flanked by an endless stream of infested terrans who A-move to Stukov’s Location.

Spawn Queen of Blades clone:
A Nydus Canal erupts at Target location and disgorges a clone of The Queen of Blades from the Brood Wars and a complement of powerful Hunter Killer Hydralisks, remnants from Zasz’s brood. (This Kerrigan uses her Brood War character model, voice lines, and abilities. Do be careful using this calldown in the presence of the real Kerrigan. She will likely not be pleased to learn what Izsha has been up to.)

I think I might have to toss you a ballistic vest this time.

As usual, this concept is pretty out there, but interesting. I could see aspects of it making there way into an official Izsha, but some of it is just too much.

Sounds pretty cool good job, I just dont know about having stukov, primal, and kerrigan included, that’s a bit weird.

Wow! they updated the new forum, and I liked the change. Now these villains will no longer do downvote on my posts. Tremble!

I read your concept many times, and so far my interest has not fallen. I am absolutely delighted. Blizzard must accept this. +1

Summon Stukov and clone Queen of Blades is a little much. Maybe a Defiler/Infestor could take the place of Stukov and still have the same effect.

For the Queen of blades, why not a Brood war Torrasque. Or Defiler and leave the infestor in place of Summon Stukov.

I love your idea! Very unique and I get that campaign AI ish feel where my subordinate brood spawn stuff for me and slowly push the enemy. However, I do wonder if because if that you’ll have to little to do as a player? Since your nobles do most of the work.

As for the naming, I don’t think queen of bla bla bla is a good name, I think they should have their own names kinda like Nova infantries. Also, I think that all nobles should be female since post brood war high breed Zerg are usually female (queens and broodmothers).
