Amon has summoned minions from all three races in this battle. A Moebius Corps laser drill has its sights set upon you, hordes of infested terrans roam the terrain, and protoss motherships bombard you from orbit. Withstand their combined might and complete your mission.

Laser Drill - An enemy Laser Drill constantly attacks player units within enemy vision.
Outbreak - Enemy Infested Terrans spawn continuously around the map.
Orbital Strike - Enemy Orbital Strikes are periodically fired throughout the map.

Notes:

  • The [Moebius Laser Drill] has 1000HP/2000Shields, 2 Armor, deals 20 damage per second, and has a range of 500.
  • Upon being destroyed, the Laser Drill [will revive after 120 seconds] .
  • [Laser Drill Location]
  • Orbital Strikes get a sound warning in the form of Amon’s laughter.
  • Orbital Strikes deal 50 damage per hit, with +50 damage to Armored.
  • Outbreak spawns Infested Civilians, then Infested Marines later, and Aberrations much later.
  • Players’ expansions seem to be safe from Orbital Strikes.

This mutation requires expendable units as they are cannon fodder to orbital strikes, as well as CC to deal with enemy Infested. Also, placing base defenses near the enemy laser drill to prevent it from rebuilding. Recommended commanders:

  • Abathur P3
  • Zagara P3
  • Karax P3
  • Stukov P3
  • Tychus P2
  • HH P1
  • Artanis P3
  • Swann P1
  • Fenix P0

#17 Triple Threat – SOLO ALL CLEAR

An easy mutation. Will be easy for three weeks, and then another challenging one.

Since you can’t full clear the map, make defenses at home and go out to take out the shuttles.

Since there’s Orbital Strike, you pretty much can’t camp the laser. It’s not that problematic anyway, since you’re hiding at home most of the time.

Dehaka trivalizes this mutation so hard you’d think it was casual mode. Especially if P2.
