Co-Op Mutation #418: Mass Manufacturing

The Moebius facility is a full blown production complex, with the ability to mobilize defenders en masse, and deploy self-replicating units that convert everything into copies of themselves. Only by destroying the Hybrid will you disable all their production.

Void Rifts - Void Rifts periodically appear in random locations and spawn enemy units until destroyed.
Propagators - Reality warping sludges are crawling towards you. Anything they touch is turned into a copy of the sludge.

MUTATOR SPAWN TIMINGS

[ [Reddit Post Link]](Will add later)

Notes:

  • Each Void Rift has 500HP, and their spawnings are signalled by a minimap ping on each Rift.
  • Units that spawn from Void Rifts neither not drop biomass for Abathur, nor essence for Dehaka.
  • Propagators have 450 health, and transform any unit they touch into one of them, effectively killing the unit.
  • Propagators hit ground units, air units, heroic units, and buildings.
  • Poopagators spawn from enemy buildings, including suppression tower spawn points, which you cannot destroy.
  • Objects that turn into the propagator have the exact same HP as the propagator that infected it; so a 1-HP Propagator can only make more 1-HP Propagators.
  • Spider mines, toxic nests, and banelings can connect with the poopagator before it poopagates them.
  • Crooked Sam’s Detonation Charge, Abathur’s Disabling Cloud, and Vorazun’s stuff can all prevent poopagators from poopagating.
  • Time stop delays by 20 seconds the spawn time of Void Rifts and Poopagators.
  • Poops do not kill the Balius

This mutation requires division and expendable units. Recommended commanders:

  • Vorazun P3
  • Zagara P1
  • Tychus P2
  • Nova P3
  • Zeratul P2
  • Karax P0
  • Dehaka P2
  • Abathur P2
  • HH P1

Apex Predator Zagara is super strong at clearing rifts with deep tunnel, but also can be used almost solo to clear parts of the map. i mostly used my banelings defensively and my partner cleared whatever was left

Mutation (Mass Manufacturing) play list

I hate how people are trying to one-base it. Unless it’s someone like P2 Tychus, most commanders will need that 2nd base for lategame, yet only few bother with taking it (and unsurprisingly, those games were the best ones i had).

Well, nothing changed since last time i played this mutation.

It wasn’t too bad. In the first try, I lost, but I had an ally who had literally pages of losses. He was playing I DEF, and we still only barely lost; we ran out of buildings while fighting the final Hybrid because his cannons didn’t hold the main base. In the second game, I had an ally who actually left the main base. We just quickly cleared the map so we didn’t have to worry about Propagators.

You really do need to clear the map quickly so Void Rift spawn locations aren’t an issue. If you’re scared of Propagators spawning under your army you can always just look up the spawn timings for them.

EDIT ~ Managed to win with a Karax ally who only put static defense on his side of the main and basically nothing else. Yeah this mutation isn’t as difficult as it looks. Poor guy had 7 hours worth of losses though, lol.

Had a Tychus ally lose his army to literally the first Propagator spawn then gg. That was funny.

Had a p0 level 1 Alarak who managed to clear his half the map just going cannons into mass Wrathwalker. So there’s a strategy for free players.

#234 Mass Manufacturing – 6/18 SOLO CLEAR so far

Mutators: Void Rifts, Propagators

https:// youtube.com/shorts/rgbPuCb-dv8?feature=share

A legendary mutation. One of the best multitasking trainers. (“Multitasking Trainer” was trash)

Nothing too special except that you gotta control the rifts while keeping an eye on props. You should try to full clear, and if not, at least clear the entire left side so all the props come from the right. Should have autoprop defenses at the natural by 20 minutes.

This map is huge, so hit squads should be bigger than usual unless they are cloaked.

For duos: Tychus and HH

For solo queue: Tychus, Zeratul

Failures [and why I failed]

Alarak (p3) [so hard to control rifts and stop props]

Karax (p3) [towers can’t move; not enough energy]

Nova (p3) [not enough gas]

Raynor (p1) [hit squads can’t have too many units (nor too few)]

Successes [and key points]

Abathur (p0) https://youtu.be/B0oy1dZ12Wc [guardians at natural]

Dehaka (p3) https://youtu.be/6eVZWr5Y3LI [muta/guardian army]

HH (p1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bugEs65s4A [easy once I decided to use reapers]

Swann (p1) https://youtu.be/1P2JgONm47Q [one base wraith]

Tychus (p2) https://youtu.be/KkMzurmhE4w [sirius at natural]

Zagara (p3) https://youtu.be/tfJgKjmWmgU [bile launchers to save money on banes]

Zeratul (p2) https://youtu.be/Bggm4nHSZx4 [abrogators at natural for late game]

Questions about any of these runs are welcome. I will make more attempts throughout the week.

I tried this with Karax P3 but it felt really slow. Karax P1 is so much better with chronoboost having the monoliths shoot at insane speeds in a pinch.

When I did this as Karax P1, I was just swinging across the map to take out the rifts with cannons and monoliths while my partner went on the offensive. Tychus P2 was really good for this, and I saw an Alarak partner clear the map with the Death Fleet prestige.

This one is hard but a lot of fun!
