The ultimate defense protocol is a combination of redundancies. The Taldarim knows this and so has activated the invincible kill bots, on top of the mine defenses and the Laser Drill. You need to work with your ally to clear the way forward for the transport.

Kill Bots - Invincible Kill Bots attack your forces until they hit their predetermined kill limit and shut down.
Laser Drill - An enemy Laser Drill constantly attacks player units within enemy vision.
Minesweeper - Groups of Widow Mines and Spider Mines are buried throughout the battlefield.

Notes:
- The [Kill Bots] spawn from any enemy building. You cannot stop them from spawning because the Suppression Tower spawns are unkillale enemy buildings.
- Large groups of Widow Mines and Spidermines are spawned on the map. Players can destroy these to clear them out.
- Widow Mines have 180HP, deal 250 damage each with 5 range, and replenish their charges.
- Spidermines have 25HP, deal 250 damage each, and do not respawn upon detonation.
- The [Moebius Laser Drill] has 1000HP/2000Shields, 2 Armor, deals 20 damage per second, and has a range of 500.
- Upon being destroyed, the Laser Drill [will revive after 120 seconds].
- Free units, such as Stukov’s Infested, Zerglings in general, and Stetmann’s Roaches Away are the most cost-effective solution to feed the Kill Bots.

Yikes. Minesweeper always kicks my butt. Even with detection my units tend to die incredibly fast.
Yay, another gruelling one. Poifect.
Eh. Shouldn’t be too hard with Stukov or gg-lord’ing Stetman/Kerrigan.
Edit: Figure Kerrigan will actually be the easiest thanks to mine-proof detection.
Do Brood lords work against kill bots? Kill bots are invulnerable so can broodlings be launched at them?
Ewwwww!
Stukov might be CoTW here, but it’s on Malwarfare which is not a really great map for him. Might make an argument for Mengsk too, who has cheap infantry to feed Warbots, and you can potentially use a Zerg calldown to clear out a minefield.

Between Killbot and Minesweeper, I find Killbot the biggest threat to me. Kerrigan is my “anti killbot” commander. XD
You safely can launch broodling on omega worms or any building/unit that is acceptable.
Partially because of mines and bots alike giving vision to the laser, you really can’t afford to pick one as the primary focus. Perhaps if you are really well co-ordinated with a teammate that could work, but otherwise it will be a struggle. Still, omega worms make Kerrigan a pretty dang good minesweeper commander.
Stukov ain’t getting anything done with minesweeper around, which is gonna force him to use diamondbacks (which means no money for bunkers)
I’m seriously wondering why people think Nova and Kill Bots mix. They don’t. Please. Do yourself a favor and stop considering Nova for this mutation. The robots will eat all your troops!
Probably because Nova is one of the best for Minesweeper. I’ve noticed a lot of people tend to judge these only by one or two mutations instead of how the combo works as a whole and the map.
What a shame. You’d probably do better off pubbing as Stetmann. His kit allows him to tackle both of the major threats, and that means that he can take up what his ally does not no matter what. 'course, I hear Kerrigan is also pretty good, if the mutation solos are any indication
This is true. I found that I have more confidence going into the mutation as Stetboii, since I would be able to find a role regardless of who my ally is. I imagine for people who pick Nova that they already play in a party.
Maybe for example they initially played as Zagara or something and they found a Stukov partner, but neither were good vs mines and getting to the later objectives. Then they decided that Nova would be a better teammate for Stukov, and eventually it worked. Maybe that’s how they came to that conclusion.
Not how I would go about it, of course. But hey, if it works for them, then great!
Stukovwith nova to clear, shouldn’t be 2 hard
Yes but that requires attention and micro (more than making and positioning zerglings, that are also much cheaper and easier to make than bl) and as such does not seem to be worth it …
If you spread out the infested, you should be able to clear the spidermines
But Tychus can’t deal with mines, so what else are people supposed to pick?
Having to macro is hard.

Tychus unit cannot, but Nux can detect and kill them easily (using just single Ultrasonic Pulse with +100% duration upgrade)
Killlbots are issue, though, Tychus is not typically floating thousands of minerals like some other commanders.
Why do I keep getting Karax allies. Like what is Karax even supposed to do, lol.
