Karax’s carriers do not benefit from Graviton Catapult research at level 1. Does this have something to do with the difference between the base carrier model and the Aiur carrier model?

Also, Karax’s Carriers do not benifit from the templar apparent prestige at level 1 and do not change costs like his other units.
