As the title says, I noticed recently Alarak is not gaining upgrades from forge, making him hyper squishy in late stages of Co-Op, especially on higher difficulties, unless that’s a intended thing, I believe that to be a bug, because I swear I saw him gain upgrades from Forge in the past

But no hero benefits from stat upgrades outside of zeratul anyway. Working as intended
I could’ve sworn I saw him gain bonuses from forge in the past, and I’m pretty sure Kerrigan gains evochamber upgrades? 
You are confusing his specialist upgrades
Heroes outside of tychus and zeratul have never gained stat upgrades from forges
