I think it would be great if we could use original BW banners and profile pictures in SC2, the ones we have now are cool and all but I’m nostalgic for the original game, not the Remaster! Do you think there is a chance anything like this gets added with future updates? I’m hoping since the recent war chests had BW skins which made me drool.
i still waiting for OG Archon skin before i can use archons. The new ones look ridiculous. I am sure though that some of the original banners are already in the game, at least the hydralisk over a pile of skulls. I swear I’ve seen it, somewhere.

Yes. I purchased the recent war chests in CN service. And I plan to purchase it in KR serivce too. And I just come back here to see how the matter was getting on. In conclusion, don’t forget to show your product next BlizzCon (Starcraft 2 product or idea. And don’t afarid of us, I saw a artist was trembled all over in last BlizzCon.) . (If this is a jab at me for being a fanboy consumer then let me tell you that not once in my life have I made an in-game purchase that was cosmetic and I haven’t bought a single war chest, the BW skins were F2P remember?)

Idk what you are on about, all I’m asking for is that they put in the banners from SCBW into SC2, they already did the same with SCR banners so clearly it would take zero effort, and I’m not a bad guy, you are the bad guy. And dumb as well, and ugly!!!4!!
But SC:BW was also painted by Blizzard. Shouldn’t you pay for it.
Firstly, I already paid them for the game (both in fact), on top of that I’m not saying I want the cosmetics for free, but that they could put in the pictures from BW at no additional cost, just how they but the Remaster pictures in, my only argument is that I reckon most folks who played Brood War would rather have banners and profile pictures from the actual BW, which they played for years instead of the Remastered BW which they haven’t. So it would be nice if the next war chest had banners and portraits straight out of BW instead of straight out of the remaster. That is all.
That depends on blizzard is willing or not. That’s their asset.

Noone disputes this, I made this thread because I wish this idea would be considered. As for the painting, no, it is not new. I am literally asking for the same painting they already made 20 years ago, that’s the whole point of nostalgia.

Exactly, they gave away those for free and I have them myself, I loved SC1 and wanted to make these banners the ones I use, but when I saw that they were the remastered victory screen backgrounds instead of the original ones, I just lost interest since they look nothing like each other
Oh! You mean the original art. That would be cool to have too. I’d almost prefer it over the remastered art as well.
