after the update never could send a single message to any chat channel outside lobby,and cannot send messages to people that arent in my friendlist.
cannot use “Arcade” and “Coop” general chats, AT ALL. game declares “you cannot message a player(!) that has not added you as a friend. Reach level 10 with Co-op commander, level 15 with a single race in Versus, or make purchase to unlock this permission.”.
do i need to be friends with the allmighty “Arcade” itself to chat with people?
and trying to send a message in any of arcade map-specific channels says “you must upgrade in order to chat in chat channels”. i would really like to get a fix for that since im using those a lot
We have restrictions on chat and map publishing on free accounts to reduce the number of cases of people being abusive, getting banned, and then immediately creating a new account to continue being abusive. Unfortunately those restrictions were not working as expected for all users, and we fixed that bug in the patch yesterday.
If you get a race to level 15, or a commander to level 10 you should regain access to chat. Please let us know if that does not happen. Sorry for the frustration.
Wow. well then. that one surely must’ve taken a while to fix then. i dont even remember since when im playing sc2. guess i will have to stab at coop missions some then ;-;
