you allow 2.4k mmr players in master level games. Please fix your match making. I spend over 60% of my time queue dodging low level players because for some reason your algorithm thinks u should be putting 2k players in master level games.
10 years and counting blizzy, get on it already.

I had one guy that didn’t even siege his tanks until after the enemy was already on him…with lots of advance phoenix vision…

how unfortunate it must be to WANT to play 2v2 with a random at alll… there’s your problem
Another team matchmaking complain thread
Drink! (5)
Here’s the thing. If they made it so that matchup was impossible to occur and master 1 could only match with master 1/2/3 in team games…you’d be queuing for 10 minutes a game.
Which would then change team threads to complain about how “dead” the game is, and no one plays, because no game developers in the world can do anything right.

team games matchmaking is terrible and very easy to abuse/manipulate. How many more years/threads until Blizzard fixes it?
I like team games, I played almost exclusively team games in sc2 for years.
Mismatched mmr, and unit abuses/balance are rife in sc2 team games, it’s undeniably true.
However, I’m curious what fixes people think are even possible.
With mmr, as has been brought up, if blizzard tightens tolerance with who gets grouped together, wait times will go through the roof - there just isn’t the population for it.
RTS has almost never had the same appeal to the masses other game genres do.
And as for balance, blizzard would have to make a separate game for teams ( much like you have access to completely different units in campaign than you do versus ). That solution runs into the exact same situation - population. I doubt it would be a net positive for blizzard to put that many resources toward what is a very small corner of the gaming landscape.

More people would join queue if it was balanced and times would decrease.
This is why Alliance doens’t queue for BG’s in World of Warcraft. No one wants to play against 5-man horde premades every game.
Allowing RT vs AT in any game only increases queue times in the long run, because the casuals stop playing.

I mean you can say this game is dead but my average queue time is 30 seconds; just gotta play 1v1.

It’s almost as if Starcraft has over 20 years of being branded as a 1v1 game.
