How to play star craft 2 heart of the swarm because it keeps saying i only have original star craft 2?

The HotS campaign has to be purchased to play it. If you did sometime in the past, make sure you are logged into the Battlenet account that it was purchased on.

I did everything but same thing happen.
Where can i download heart of the swarm and legacy of the void, i have heart of the swarm on CD?

Theyre all downloaded as part of the Starcraft 2 client. They aren’t separate installs like SC1 and Brood War were back in the day. Its already there, it’s just locked from access if you don’t own the expansion.

Heart of the Swarm campaing either needs to be purchased or it was free to anyone who purchased Wings Of Liberty campaing prior to SC2 becoming free-to-play.

Hots Ladder is no longer available (nor Wol Ladder). These can only be played in custom mode.

How can i get new units from legacy of the void?

For multiplayer, play Legacy of the Void.
For campaign, find an arcade version or a custom mod from somewhere.

Multiplayer is LOTV by default.

The campaign might depend on owning that particular version of the game, so use Blizzard’s store to buy whichever campaigns you are missing.

yeah and Heart Of The Swarm only got what 2 1/2 years or so?? As the multiplayer default…and Legacy Of The Void got 8 or 9 years…but given how much Blizzard seems to care about “balance” I’m not entirely surprised.

yeah and it’s the expansion that Blizzard banked everything on and then lost over half it’s staff, stock dropped, esports tanked, and probably over half the playerbase quit…but forums mafia will make over 3000 posts defending the undoubtedly worst expansion of SC2.
