Campaigns ranked from best to worst

How would you rank the campaigns based on their story and missions? This is my list from best to worst:

A tier

  • SC2 Wings of Liberty
  • Brood Wars UED
  • Brood Wars Kerrigan

B tier

  • SC1 Terran
  • SC1 Zerg
  • SC1 Protoss
  • SC2 Nova Covert Ops

C tier

  • Brood Wars Zeratul
  • SC2 Heart of the Swarm
  • SC2 Legacy of the Void

While I enjoy playing Co-op, I thought that the spotlight on Amon and the Xel’Naga in LotV made the story needlessly convoluted and uninteresting. The same could be said about the primal zerg arc in HotS. At least the epilogue was somewhat satisfying.

Best in order: BW Zerg, WOL, Covert ops

Still pretty good: LotV, SC1 Protoss, BW Terran

Meh: HotS, BW Ptoross

Pretty bad: SC1 Terran, SC1 Zerg

The SC1 campaigns are carried by the fact that as a new player, the lack of difficulty is not an issue, on repeat playthroughs where you know what each unit does, they are very boring and easy however.
