Once I’ve reached the maximum mastery, I lost interest on the mode. The carrot in front of me was removed. The Prestige system got me interested once again, but now that I have all the ones I wanted, I’m back to being bored.
What if we could spend, say, 100 Mastery points to buy a new commander?
That would bring back the carrot to my face. Leveling my Maestry once again and now with a new commander
I’m pretty sure Activision/Blizzard don’t care about dangling a carrot anymore if they can’t get money from it. Especially on a game mode they no longer support, and don’t expect to grow anymore.
Considering that Blizzard can’t even bother to make stim packs permanently buy-able on the store shows how little they care about continual development about co-op.
Your proposition is flawed though.
You say you’re “bored” and don’t want other COs. Yet, your proposal suggests you will “then spend mastery to exchange for COs”, which you don’t want to play.
So it is clear that there are prestiges you want to play (but too lazy to work for), thus here we are. Or COs you want to play but too cheap to pay for.
This has nothing to do with Blizzard… and everything to do with your own personal gains… hard to support laziness.
I am all fore paying for COs, as it is not fair to everyone else who paid if you can simply exchange some measly mastery for COs all of a sudden.
I wouldn’t mind going through the mastery process again (from orange font lv0 to lv90). I’m told you can just switch regions to have this all reset since your progress doesn’t carry over. However, I kinda like playing on the Americas. Also, I’d have to put in an enormous amount of time to get a few COs (and perhaps their Prestiges) to lv15 (probably another year or 2), and I just did that with nearly all the COs from P1 to P3. I’d like to take the next year to just enjoy the fruits of my labor, and play more of those games with full mastery. Hell, I haven’t touched some of them with their masteries yet!
OP isn’t saying that of the tone you make it sound like so stop. Nothing wrong with asking for a proposal so focus on what OP is talking about than finding flaws to pick from.
I was like you with this. I fix it by doing something extreme so much so there will be no exp boost to help me.
100 mastery points does sound a good start I will add another 300 this can be taken from other commanders that way there’s still more carrot left. Also, its final so choose wisely. =D
It doesn’t matter at all. It will NOT happen. There will be no more support, updates, or releases for SC2 coop.
If you want to play and grind what we have now, cool. If not, or if you don’t want to spend the money for other CO’s, that’s also okay. Just ride the game until it dies all the way at this point.
What are you talking about? Stop projecting and just read, especially when commenting on something 2 weeks past… defending someone who didn’t reply themselves…
