Bugs Galore Broken Game

seriously blizzard like wtf half the units are bugged. why, how do you mess up this bad. god i cant wait to see what the newest tourney is looking like if there playing on this bs. holy jingle bells batman, fix the damn game this is insane its this bad.

I love how the terrans whined about all the supposed nerfs they got and here we go with a patch thats completely bugged in terrans favor. wow.

There’s one terran unit that’s bugged, time to flip.

I guess out of fairness, each race got a bug buff:

Cyclone: lock-on is all kinds of messed up
Lurker: apparently it can hit units while cloaked under the mothership
Oracle: increased range to cast revelation

But yeah, terran got the long end of the stick on this one. Poor toss has the gas queue bug to deal with too.

Actually a direct result of the mothership’s cloak being bugged, not the Lurker. Specifically, my understanding is that it’s an issue with how the cloaking spell is applied to the units below it.

Though I’m not sure, but I heard that the Lurker has 200 hp instead of the 190 HP they should have as well? Have to double-check that.

Okay, then protoss REALLY got screwed in this patch.

I just played a TvZ, and I confirm the lurkers are 190 hp.

Plus Bunker.

A burning down Bunker can still be salvaged

Also Something concerning mostly only protoss: when building Gas the followed Up commands dont get through because the worker isnt idle anymore. Meaning a probe will wait until the Gas is finished. Because terran and obviously zerg cant Rally those commands or it wouldnt be useful, it affects Just protoss.

This isn’t a bug. You have to be attacking it to cancel the salvage.

Maybe but the original quote was:

" Salvage process is now being canceled upon taking damage."

Taking damage is taking damage (and not necessarly being attacked; you can get attacked and receive no damage, hallucination. Now that i think about it it would be funny if halluc could cancel salvage). If a building is burning, it is taking damage. If they think its the intended behaviour, they should phrase it differently.

How does that make sense to you though? The bunker wouldn’t even be salvageable at all if it canceled from taking fire damage. They would literally have to salvage it before the fight even begins for that to happen.

It actually makes a Lot of Sense.

You only can salvage your Bunker If it is Not in any danger at all. You can repair it until it isnt burning anymore. Then you refund it.

Logically it doesnt make any Sense that you get 75% refund of an Item that is Close to being broken down by damage. Wish you the Best luck to Return such an Item at the Service Center :smiley:

“Hey…can i Return this controller? My son smashed it 10 Times against the wall and now its completly wrecked and barely functions anymore”

It should be salvageable by game logic, but it isn’t salvagable because of the damage ticks that fire does.

Yeah, it’s definitely an annoyance. It has to do with the way they changed the “mining” on the probes when they rally to the gas. I’d have to double-check if it effects Terran or Zerg (I don’t think so though, but it’s definitely possible that it might with the way the change was implemented).

Oracles can cast revelation at 12 range instead of their actual cast range of 9, which I have no idea how that got changed, but it did.

And the mothership’s cloak field is bugged too.

But Last Time i checked you can salvage it and the damage Ticks dont cancel the salvage. Which is against the phrasing of the Balance council.

The damage Ticks should cancel salvage. But right now it doesnt.

So I don’t know but I had ling chase down 1 hp helion but it did no damage to hellion since it stop to attack.

I found out that it is impossible to take geysers in one base on Ley Lines, but i’m not sure if this in-game bug or map bug.

watching a pig cast on that map right now, the minerals need mined first to get the gas, it was meant like that.

On ley lines, it’d deliberate; there is a set of reduced minerals right next to the gas geyser that you have to mine before you can use the gas. Something like 150 minerals?

I know about this but i’m talking about standard geysers. I played and i was unable to take either gas in the base under natural to the right side. This was a bug 100% - will check again to make sure.
