I keep getting an error where once I click the publish button in the SC2 Editor, it beings to upload the map and it either stops at 32% and fails or 99% and fails, then stated, “In order to access this content, you must upgrade your copy of…” then it gets cut off. I looked online and saw other people with this issue but not answer can be found on how to resolve this.
I made sure battlenet and also SC2 are up to date but it still gives me the issues. I’m uploading to the US server specifically.
Maybe it use (non-terran) campaign materials, and you can’t upload a map with that without owning the corresponding campaign?
Normally, in that case, you should not have been able to use the material in your map to begin with, but who know, with programming error, weirdness is possible.
hmm i had no errors that pooped up, and if there were it would have prevented me from publishing the map, but i guess it’s possible the editor lets me use game items that I may not have since I’m a free user of Star Craft 2? But I made sure to only use map making objects from Heart Of The Swarm which I have access to.
