Brothers In Arms Mastery Achievement

Want to do all of these on brutal. Blizzard said it’s possible. Any tips on this one? Or do i have to beat the last mission then go thru the archives?

I’ve already beat the campaign, but for some reason the master archives aren’t showing as clickable. Have to use what’s available then.

Which isn’t much. Stalkers and zealots and then you are given immortals on this one with a nice 2 base set up, meant to drop a 2nd nexus quickly.

If that’s the destroy 55 buildings during a single period thing, just make immortals, make two groups and send them on each line. You control one of them, stutter step. If there’s noone in sight, send them forward and switch to the other group.

Yes it’s that one. That sounds right. I have tried going mass immortals. Have you done this on brutal? Because you have to fend off hybrids during this time.

You’re making it sound a lot easier than it is.

Obviously better be doing it from master archives.
Quick 2nd base, sit back and defend until 200 supply of immortal/energizer/DT and some stalkers for antiair (maybe sacrifice probes after get enough money for 200/200 army and some additional warp-ins to replace losses). After that split army into two halfs and push two lanes with stutter stepping. Save before push.
If only immortal/stalker - then strat is the same, but don’t know how much harder it will be.

I think I’ve done it on hard. Nevertheless, this is not my idea. I’ve seen this on youtube many years ago and that guy did it on brutal.

When hybrids arrive, switch to the group meeting them, you could also assist with orbital or whatever ability you have there.

Ya for some reason it’s making me beat the last mission again. Forgot how hard this one was. I want to do it on brutal, but i remember just barely beating it the first time after many reloads.

Definitely going to need the archives available to go for these achievements. I’m thinking having DT’s this mission will help a lot.

You could do Korhal as the third planet for more solarite, but you don’t really need units besides immortals and a few stalker variants.

The problem is immortal production alone is too slow to do this achievement. It’s hard enough on brutal to just complete the mission. Kept losing Valerian’s base while i was going for kills.

How? The enemy terrans are stunned as well as ally ones.

Trust me, I’d like to help, really.

For the achivement, you don’t make anything, but immortals (workers ofc). Until you max out, just defend on all fronts. There comes a time, when an attack wave comes for your base at each time period. When you maxed out and the frozen thing is approaching, split your forces in half. Send one to the top route, the other one to the bottom. 2-3 seconds before the freeze comes, launch both teams to the farthest end of the map. You control one group, stutter step forward. When nothing in sight, switch to the other group and do the same. When the hybrids arrive, switch to the team meeting them and do the same. You might as well help with Spear, to deal with them sooner. While you fight the hybrids, the other group is still on its route destroying.

You’re gonna earn the achivement this way.

Are you serious? The hybrids. They attack both bases. Try playing it on brutal with just immortal stalker you won’t get it.

As I said terran units are stunned.

The hybrids attack both sides, but not at the same time. Only one side each stun duration.

I don’t remember having any issues with this on brutal. Build max army (I don’t remember if I build immortals or dark templars) and attack at bottom and top at the same time. No need for stalkers, the few air units that are present can be killed by SOA if necessary

Right right you need to max out first. And split. I went dt, immortal. Dt’s are great here. I actually didn’t get it the first time. I was helping valerian and raynor so much, they must have killed some of the buildings.

I had to restart it. And many times attacked some of their buildings and units just so they wouldn’t advance too far. Good advice guys thanks.
