I like the fact you guys update the game and bring in a new PR patch but come on man the ladder system is broken so bad. I Don’t even have to describe it because everyone already knows. I have a discord with like 90 members all playing sc2. We all know protoss is broken right now and that the ladder system seems extra bad. I get to D2 and I play non stop D1 and Up basically. It’s sad. I choose to play Protoss tonight and my first league placement is with A diamond 3 zerg. I beat him get placed gold 1 and 2993 mmr. Next two games I play diamond 3 players and I’m in gold league. Then I go back to my diamond 2 and play a gold league first game back at it and he’s definitely not gold at all and I lose to him. Probably a smurf. I like how YOU guy wanna try to make the game better but fall short in almost every aspect. Pretty sad if you ask me because the fact I can play broodwar as zerg and it automatically feels more balanced from a few games I played recently just saying. That and all the people playing on like ten different accounts smurfing people. It’s really Ruining the game. Please do something about this it’s getting out of hand. Thanks~!
do you even know what the state of the game is right now? how long have you been playing sc2? doesnt seem like much if your asking for something like this to get changed. lmao
Doesn’t sounds like your MMR is that high making a statement like that. I’m confronting a real issue and you just wanna make so none related statement not relative to what I’m talking about anyway. Also they just had a balance patch so obviously they are still working things out to attract a new player base and bring something new to the table even though it’s been complete dog SH$# because they only care about money now and not their customers or having standards enough to fix real issues in the game but host these so called professional tournaments where the pay outs are massive. These people don’t even care about MMR because their at the top and don’t have to struggle with these issues or just learning how to cope with it. The face that I go can 2-3 and get Masters in ladder but yet go 4-1 as protoss and get gold. The whole things is a shame anymore ever since blizzard got wrecked by Activision. Straight facts babyyy.
ok so your asking for them to change how matchmaking works. what i mean by you must be new and dont know the state of the game, is the fact THEY ARE NEVER CHANGING IT. The game is out of developement and has been since 2019. The last 3 balance patchs we got were done by the pros, because blizzard stopped doing them around 2019, and we only got balance after the sc2 community begged for changes. Blizzards response was to have the pros do it from now on and made the Balance Council.
The only changes you will see going forward are terrible balance descisions made by people with conflict of interest.
Thats why i say your new and dont know the state of the game.
also its pretty up in the air if we will be getting further balance as the last patch put out was terribly done. They screwed it up twice before finally puting out the right patch. And from what is being said in the community, the balance council has been fighting between each other so who knows how thats gonna go
