Ok so I wanted to take a minute to post my view of where Blizzard is with StarCraft 2. If people would just take a minute to step back and see the big picture for a moment. Microsoft has Xbox and Blizzard as there 2 gaming side of the business. And guess what Blizzard is doing much better!
That being said Microsoft Still has to take into account how much they are spending on this Division as a whole. So what I’m saying is, it looks from the outside as they are taking more interest in Blizzard gaming. AKA StarCraft 3 maybe someday. (even though its rumored to be a first-person shooter at the moment)
So to recount please say what you need to say about the balance or changes in Blizzard, and then move forward, these quality-of-life changes, which people have mixed feelings about, because the game is getting to easy. Will be needed for a StarCraft 3! They cant invest in a game that needs 1000 hours to play. I would like to Note its very impressive what the pro players can do I don’t want to take away from that. But they need the Mass of people playing at below 4000 MMR to want to play the game.
I just want to say Thank you to the New Blizzard and Microsoft, for considering the progress of Blizzard as a whole. ( all the games including StarCraft 2) And yes, I would be a fan of a StarCraft 3 as and RTS. And I would continue to play StarCraft 2 and have fun with it!.
Microsoft hired a woman named Asha Sharma (she used to be an executive at OpenAI) to run XBOX and the first thing she did was fire a bunch of American developers and replace them with H1B employees. Asha Sharma is born in America by the way. She was recently appointed to a post at the Federal Reserve for some reason. She has never been a gamer or really understands anything about gaming. The same pattern seems to be the case across Microsoft’s other gaming properties.
Microsoft is only an American corporation in name only. In reality, it is mostly an Israeli company now as the most important parts of the company are now run in Israel while the face of the company are Indians now (probably as a scapegoat). All you need to know is that with respect to gaming, Microsoft does not care about making money anymore as the Federal Reserve (which Asha Sharma is coincidentally part of) can print out as much money as possible, literally give it to big banks and private equity (for free), and those companies can then prop up the stock of Microsoft or any other non-profitable company forever so long as they do what the bankers want. This is essentially how Amazon rose and became a de-facto monopoly in many spaces as they didn’t have a profit for probably 15 years after the company was founded partly to dodge taxes but also because the “free market” is pretty much a myth.
The agenda is to make your life worse and get you off of gaming and other stuff to waste your time so that you can be a slave now that they have consolidated power. If you think I am full of something, then ask yourself this. Has Microsoft ever made anything better in the history of the company? How do companies that make god awful broken products and make everything in life worse for regular people as well as their customers actually stay in business? Well when your masters can print infinite fiat money and run good companies out of business who don’t sell out to Microsoft or other similar companies, then you can literally screw everything up to the point of collapsing civilization and you still end up running things in the end.
