Hello, I thought about a lot of small changes that could be great for the game. Please don’t consider I want to see all of them into the game. I just want your opinion about it. If you find something good, or not, and why.
I know how this forum is but please try to be constructive and not only think at how your own race should get freewin vs the others.
- Zerg
I don’t think Zerg is in a good spot atm. I propose changes to help them defend their bases and also increases late game units efficiency while nerfing what Zergs are spamming because Zerg tech is really imbalanced.
- Baneling :
-Weapon damage changed from 16 (+19 vs light) to 18 (+17 vs light).
- Lurker :
-Lurker burrow time increased from 2 to 2.5 seconds
-Adaptive Talons : Reduces Lurker burrow time from 2.5 to 1.25 seconds (was 0.7 seconds)
- Viper :
-Now requires a Spire (no longer requires a Hive)
-Abduct : is now a Spire upgrade which requires a Hive. Cost : 100 minerals / 100 gas (59 seconds)
- Ultralisk :
-Range increased from 1 to 2
-Model size reduced by 10%
- Broodlord :
-Speed upgrade added for the Greater Spire : Increase Broodlord’s speed from 1.9 to 2.62 (same as overseer without speed or a carrier) : Cost 150/150 (57 seconds)
- Hydralisk :
-Grooved Spine : Increases the attack range of Hydralisks by +2 (was +1).
- Infestor :
-Microbial Shroud reworked : The shroud now gives a buff to any ground unit that crosses the shroud. It persists when the unit is outside the shroud. All damage taken are reduced by 50%. The buff lasts 8 seconds. There is also a 20 seconds cooldown before the same unit can get the buff again. The shroud lasts 11 seconds (no change). Cost increased from 75 to 100 energy.

Greater Spire is now morphed from the Drone instead of the Spire. Greater Spire also have Flyer Attack and Flyer Carapace upgrades

Creep tumor :
-Creep tumor can now be canceled again

Hatchery : New Upgrade : Increase Hatchery, Lair and Hive base armor from 1 to 3. Increase Regeneration for all building from 0.38 hps to 1.5 hps. Requires a Hive. Cost 200/200 (67 seconds)

Spine Crawler :
-Cost reduced from 100 to 75
-Root duration reduced from 9 to 4 seconds
(Spore and Spine are now the same)
- Nydus Network :
-Nydus Network and Nydus Worm initial unload delay decreased from 0.36 to 0.18.
-Nydus Network and Nydus Worm load period decreased from 0.18 to 0.09.
-Nydus Network and Nydus Worm unload period decreased from 0.36 to 0.18.

- Terran
I have very few ideas for terran. Because I think Terran is the strongest race if you are skilled enough, and I don’t think it would be good to lower the terran skillcap. However I agree that mech may need a rework or a buff to make it viable more often yet I have no idea how. Bio looks fine.
- Medivac :
-Moved the Rapid Re-Ignition System upgrade from the Fusion Core to the Starport Tech Lab .
-Cost decreased from 100/100 to 75/75
-Research time decreased from 57 to 42 seconds
- Bunker :
-Is no longer upgraded by Neosteel armor upgrade. Instead, when a bunker is placed within a 15 range around a Command Center, an Orbital or a Planetary Fortress, it gets the buff previously given by Neosteel armor (+2 cargo space and +2 armor).
- Tank :
-When a tank is within a 15 range around a Command Center, an Orbital or a Planetary Fortress, siege and unsiege duration are decreased by 50%.
- Raven :
-Speed increased from 4.13 to 4.8
- Banshee :
-Cloak upgrade
- Protoss
- Battery Overcharge
-Battery overcharge becomes Battery Recharge : Recharge a target Shield Battery near a Nexus, recharging its energy at a 1:1 ratio. Battery Recharge recharges 10 points of energy per second. It can be canceled and it has no cooldown. While a battery is recharging, it cannot heal shields.
- Carrier :
-Range decreased from 8 to 7
-Interceptor range decreased from 2 to 1
- Void Ray :
-Void Ray build time increased from 37 to 40 seconds (it was 43s before buff)
-Movement speed decreased from 3.85 to 3.65 (it was 3.5 before buff).
- Stalker :
-Blink cooldown reduced from 7 to 6 seconds
- Disruptor :
-Purification Nova now lasts 3.5 seconds (was 2.1)
-Purification Nova can now be manually detonated after 1.5 seconds
-Purification Nova movement speed decreased from 5.95 to 4.7.
- Observer :
-Gravitic booster upgrade no longer exists.
-Observer speed and acceleration increased by 50% (= upgraded by default)
-Observer is no longer permanently cloaked. Instead, Observer starts with 100/100 energy, use 25 energy to cloak and then it consumes 1.26 energy per seconds to stay cloaked (like ghost or banshee)
- High Templar :
-Psionic Storm damage over time decreased from 80 to 50.
-When a unit is affected by Psionic storm, it receives 20% more damage from all the other sources.
- Nexus :
-Strategic Recall : You can now recall a maximum of 5 units (however, Mass Recall of the mothership stay the same)
- Dark Templar :
-Dark Templar now starts with 100/100 energy and their cloaking ability works like banshee or ghost
- Mothership :
-Cost decreased from 400/400 to 325/325
-Supply reduced from 8 to 6
-Cloaking Field is no longer permanent and now works like ghost or banshee cloaking, consuming Energy.
-New ability : Evade : Activating Evade grants the mothership a boost of speed and acceleration of 100% for 2.5 seconds. No energy cost. Cooldown 30 seconds.
