with so many people complaining about balance. there is deffinately something wrong with the game. at this point i think blizzard should just cut ties with the current balance team and try someone new.

I think they’re doing a decent job, much better than the balance teams in WoL, HotS and early LotV. They could do better of course, but they’re not that bad IMO.

There are at most 100 people who post on these forums.
There are 100,000 players of SC2 1v1 ladder worldwide.
So less than 0.1% of players whine on these forums.
Yeah, I think that the problem isn’t the balance, it’s the whiners.

Whenever I log in it’s shown that below 10k games are being played and below 10k players being in chat. The games number is the same for all regions. The players in chat number differs per region.
Accounts != real player counts
Whining is just a natural process for terran players to evacuate the salt out of their body, it has nothing to do with the state of the balance.

Many players aren’t in any chat channel, and if we assume that there are always 10k 1v1 games being played and 100k players, that means on average players spend about 5% of their life playing, which is over an hour a day.
Yeah, 100k players seems pretty reasonable.
Most of the whiners are Zerg, we’ve pretty handily proven that at this point. Something about these forum and their Zerg evolution interacts poorly and forces them in to b*tch-fits that would shame the devil.

It’s just a symptom of entitlement.
Go to any forum, for any current game, and the hoards of salt lords will have you convinced that all games are worthless, broken, and run by completely inept developers.
Squeaky wheels rarely, if ever, represent the average demographic.
The internet may give everyone a voice, but precious few use it for anything but vocal diarrhea.

Entitled is not the right word to use here. The word is so overused nowadays by people who dont know what the word means that it has largely lost its meaning.
And of course a small subset of a player base are going to be vocal. Very few people are willing to voice criticisms to begin with because you have people pleasers, easy goers, people who dont care, etc. who avoid criticism because they dont want to displease or become uncomfortable. The way in which people express criticism is another thing. Its up to the community to determine the level of coarseness of the discourse they can handle without becoming upset and withdrawn.
I have been playing the game since 98. The game is unbalanced. If you have been playing this game from the year it was made and have a better opinion please share otherwise stop name calling.

This forum is garbage. I hate to say it, but 90% of time people simply whine in a very hostile manner. Half of the posts are myohmind/goba/batz arguing over who’s the diamond scrub amongst them and the rest is people whining about any race at any time.
How would a productive discussion look like?
“Hey guys, how do I deal with X strat, do you think it needs nerfing?”
Etc etc
How does it look here? “REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE NERF REEEEEEEEE TERRAN/TOSS/ZERG 0 SKILL F2ACLICK RACE”
