Auto split hack

I heard about Auto split hack before but did not think it was the real issue until I actually faced a cheater on the ladder.

That guy, aW Light, has used auto split hack and managed to dodge all the biles right before they landed on the ground.

So, when Blizzard will do something about it?

I did not see the video but i remember years ago seeing on youtube a tutorial about this trick (not hack). As far as i remember it has to do with rapid-casting…

It is not that. You can auto cast ability, it is legit and can be configured in your settings.

But it is impossible to configure auto split for your units. Imagine marines automatically split vs banelings - it would ruin the game entirely. This is plain and simple cheating and must be addressed to

Ah, i see. In that case it’s up to Blizzard to punish those people. I will never undestand the people that uses cheats to win games. What’s the point on wining activating the God-Mode?
You never loose and the victory means nothing and sounds hollow.

Oh man, that is disgusting. What a scumbag. It’s really obvious with his unit selection, entire group of units is selected and suddenly only the subset of selection are queued up to move in different directions simultaneously to avoid the bile landing zone.

Towards the end, his units dodge biles without even being selected because he’s distracted by the single roach at his expansion.

Over 5k apm.

Now, there are years, but it was a video that explained that. Also Rapid-fire or Smart-Command is been patched at least once. There was a time when you could do a trick with Phoenixes (they followed the cursor) and they slaughtered the Mutas nearly without loses.
I will try to find the video and will bring it here.

This hack has actually been around for a while, and it’s absurdly easy to break it if you play against it. Just get a lot of banelings and the hack will micro the units so much that they will never actually attack and you can kill the army without losing anything.

That is a good tip, thanks.

But problem is that you dont know guy is cheating until it is very late. I went for roach/ravager composition and simply could not afford nor time or money to transition to banelings.

I hope Blizzard eventually will do something about this hack.
