ATT: BALANCE TEAM -Glitch with parasitic bomb, it's stacking

120 dmg over 7 seconds ay? Try Full Damage. Try, my full hp fleet just recalled and died in the base. Multiple casters is causing it to stack. Entirely wiping out max supply fleets in 7 seconds with no other damage present, even after retreat.

Replay Review:
Okay this is disturbing, from what I’m seeing in the replay, it is a glitch, annndd there is another… two:

When fungal growth is cast during effects of parasitic bomb splash the parasitic bomb splash effects all units until fungal growth expires, even with no unit with parasitic bomb in play on any unit present, it even shows both graphics on the field, even though individual unit inpection on paused replay of all units present shows no parasitic bomb in play.

Also recall prolongs the effects of parasitic bomb and renews the casting time to T-7seconds on landing at Nexus, + stacked splash damage per parasitic bombed unit. Even without Fungal in place. With it casted directly after to extend parasitic bombs damage window, even recalled directly to 10+ shield generators, and well, your 150 food fleet just got killed by 12 food of casters anyway… in ur base, after recalled, while being regenerated by an array of shield generators… Because hey, recall just restarted the cast times and let parasitic bomb last for duration of fungal growth, plus stacked splash in play per number of parasitic bomb at time of fungal growth cast…

All I know is I have like 150 food fleet and they are dying from one cast from like 3-4 vipers, like every 4v4 vs zerg, I gotta recall to like a base with like 10 shield generators to keep from total loss, I can only imagine what terran is dealing w, maybe the glitch only vs units with shields?

well thats how parisitic works, so nothing wrong with it.

it’s supposed to be 120 dmg total, these are units with 450+ hp, and it’s kill stroking them, after recall, with no enemy present, I don’t even stick around when it’s cast, I just recall or entire fleet dies, so no enemy dmg, full shields, to dead, and terran ain’t got recall, idk why they aren’t complaining, it only started after patch

and if you shoot it mulitiple times than your hitting everything in that cluster with multiple bombs, just like if you nuke with ten nukes

yeah but the effect is a single status change to the unit, it isn’t supposed to stack, like I could see if for the duration, but they are nuking in a single command, at the same second, and then it’s doing like 360 - 480 - 600 dmg inside 7-9 seconds, to every unit

its not stacking, stacking is hitting one unit multiple times, if hes hitting different units then its normal

it’s impossible to see which unit it hit, the effect just shows status icon on all, there is no micro solution, 4 casts, from 12 food units, taking out 150+ food, and not a damn thing u can do about it, is the definition of imbal, and it has to be a glitch, because it doesn’t show 4 parasitic bomb icons on the units, just 1

oh so like 5 tanks splashing 150 supply and killing them, or 5 ghost nuking the same spot, or the list could go on with other splash units.

thats physical, not a status/spell effect, it clearly states 120 dmg over 7 seconds, not infinite dmg, over 7 seconds, if it was staggered, so that they had to wait, like, 4 seconds, to extend it to 11, then yeah sure, but it isn’t, a spell is capped dmg over time, and isn’t supposed to stack from multiple cast

also there is no dispell for some reason in this game so um

nuke is a spell, storm is a spell seiging seige tanks is a spell, disrupters etc. dude seriously just say your bad

storm doesnt stack, like at all, cast time/dmg per aoe is fixed no matter how many storms u hit the area w

like with storm say I use 10 templar on same spot, at same second, it does storm damage of 1 templar, save per +1 +2 seconds overhang from user casting lag then additional +1 +2 snds etc

still a spell that doesn mass splash damage and kills a load of units just like what your complaining about.

I’m complaining about the stacking glitch dude, not the spell, it should be fixed then the spell rebalanced, so it does more per cast, but not total damage per stacking cast

its not a glitch tho, its the way its been forever
