At which point should I switch races?

Im a diamond 2 Europe Terran and Protos but mainly play Terran.

But I got 217 mmr more with protos . And this race feels way more forgiving with actual fighting units which dosent die while locking at AOE units.

But if I play protos I get destroyed by Lurkers and I dosent know to counter them.
At which point would you consider switching races?

Terran to stay diamond

Protoss to get masters, GM if you get a bunch of terrans on ladder

Zerg for GM

When you stop having fun.This is a game. But kerp in mind every race must face serious BS from other races.

If you want to delete lurkers,obs+zealot+mass inmortal/archon and even disruptors.

Terran is significantly higher in masters and GM. Amazing logic as usual.

I honestly like the idea of playing random, knowing the strengths and weaknesses of each race is neat and every game you never know what you’re getting

When I stop being terrible at the game, random is the way I want to go too, seems super fun. You kind of gain an advantage through your opponent expecting cheese which can help off-set some of the unpredictability of the matchups for you.

I’ve never struggled with Lurkers as long as I’ve scouted the den before they strike. Immortals smash them, colossus can outrange them, and obviously any air unit can ruin their day. They just obliterate most gateway armies no matter what you do though lol

The league distribution says:

Zerg to stay diamond
Terran to stay master.
Protoss in GM

switch to Protoss when you want to start climbing the ladder, Protoss is incredibly broken right now, so easy…

mass immortal wrecks lurkers… but you do have to push it correctly, if you can bait their spines in other directions with zealots, you will have different results.

If you don’t want to think and just relax and win?

Play the easiest race Terran, Stim A move can easily get you to high masters

For an easy race there is a lot of macro micro positioning multidrop play harasment and babysitting army involed besites the low hp units

Switch when your current race doesnt appeal to you anymore. Recently switched from terran to zerg. Takes some getting used to, but i like it more
