I have not noticed this bug occur with any game other than Heaven Besieged: Ultimate, but lobbies suddenly close with no warning at random times. When this happens, all players are simultaneously forcefully kicked from the lobby, and the lobby instantly disappears. A new lobby must be created, which causes some players to not rejoin and the lobby to move back to the bottom of the Custom Games list, which, obviously, is not good for growing a community.
This has happened many times over the past few weeks (starting at some point within the past 2 months). It has happened at least twice during my time playing today, and likely over 20 times in the past.
There is no clear reason as to why this happens. I have not experienced it in the first minute or so of making a lobby, but apart from that, it appears to happen regardless of player count in the lobby (have seen in range between 4 and 9 out of the 10 lobby slots), chat activity, lobby placement on the list, option-selects in-lobby, lobby host, lobby members, and lobby title name.
Two factors that I do not know about are the Arcade General chat, as I do not join that chat channel, and whether or not the map itself may cause this problem. If it is the map itself, what might cause this?
Please advise.
