So all 3 episodes of all SC2 has a main race focus and a few side mission for another race. I always found that somewhat unfair, and even boring.
I propose an Episode IV that has around 12-15 missions close to equal to all races. Somewhat similar to SC1 and BW. So many times I have returned to those campaigns, to some challenging missions etc.
Especially we are at 5 years since LOTV 2015 release, and I guess we are of need of new stories, lores, conflicts, units, maybe new characters etc.
So your opinions:
Would you like to see a closing episode IV?
What would you like to see things changed, so we can have a more classic remembered campaign?
What new 1 unit per race should be in the new campaign ?
what new conflict or story could be interested to be seen?
would you like the last episode IV to be focused for all 3 races? or just 1 particular?

Focused on Matt and Valerian’s bromance.

Matt and Jim were close, Matt and Tychus were fighting over Jim’s approval ), no?
Also Jim and Tychus fight is so cool, we definitely need some fights like that in episode 4, one can hope.

I see nobody wants more campaigns ((, it is sad.
I just want the devs to continue having a job from here to eternity because this game is life and this game deserves immortality. Yeah, its that good.

i want episode IV to be 10missions per race minimum, and none of this hand holding basic unit crap. I want to be able to make crackling ultra first meshin.
Or it could be a moba…
where you control dehaka…
stukes… And flesh out what happens with Han and Horner. I know what kind of fighting I want to see there.
Something about a girl who likes explosives really lights my fuse.
Also a girl who can work, tbh. Like if it hit the fan and we had to farm potatoes or something for sustenance? Peasant women are literally best women
prove me wrong.
edit: nevermind, not stukov, idk what crapbrained story telling needed to bring him back. not that I don’t like him, I thought the dialogue between him and Dugualle was cool, and I dig their accents, but I can’t see him having an interesting story going forward, on account of his origin being complete bogus.
Also nevermind dehaka. The primal zerg are pretty boring, and haka is about as 2d as you can get. Those ideas were mostly just foolin because rts is dead and its son moba killed it.
A complete waste of time given that LOTV was out 5 years ago and the game as a whole is almost 10.
Better to save it for SC3 where such an effort would be justified and worth the cost.

The slight problem with expensive DLC is that it is…expensive.
In this case, new SC2 campaign DLC this late into the game’s lifecycle is a really dumb idea when it almost certainly has a relatively small and constantly declining player base. Even worse is selling such content at a high price which itself is a reason not to buy.
Is it worth the time, money and effort from Blizzard’s perspective? I can’t see how it can be.
They have a far better chance selling DLC, particularly at affordable prices, with a new Starcraft PC game then trying to keep an old one that is past its best-before date on life support.
I would love more campaigns anytime

I would love more campaigns too - the engaging story of the original game and its expansion is just as important, if not more important, than the multiplayer scene. If anything, it doesn’t have to focus on an important character. It could be some old covert missions from when Kerrigan was still human, or even a Protoss conflict set 50 years in the future.
Just one story idea I’ve been playing with, but haven’t really developed yet: e.g. a small group of Nerazim remained in the Void to master its powers, probably tempted by its powers, and manipulated from behind the scenes by Ulrezaj who was freed by them from his Khaydarin prison during the End War, who at the same time is pushing some loyalists to ascend the Tal’darim chain. On the opposite side of things, Vorazun now has a young child whom she tends to, but has to balance out her mothering duties with investigating the new appearance of Void Rifts on distant planets, using the new Protoss vessel Concord, a collaboration of technology with Vorazun in charge, a zealot batallion led by an ex-Tal’darim (one of the few who chose to remain with the Dae’laam when Alarak gave them the choice) and a Purifier who has uploaded himself into the Concord to become its AI and weapons operator, the entire ship effectively being his body (and something fun to control in a campaign).
Random ideas!
