Anti-disruptor hack detected, 600 apm average, 5200 apm spikes

drop.sc/replay/11364514

Winning this game was an act of divine justice.

First 5k+ apm spike occurs at 10:20

10:51 splits his army with his camera over his own base. 10k apm

At 17:40 he splits his entire army without vision over his own men.

Each time a disruptor orb is fired, this player’s apm spikes above 5000 (yes, five thousand) and he averages 600 apm throughout the game.

Once I noticed his ungodly splitting and blinking, I started abusing his bot and gave me ally the resources he needed to overcome the zerg.

I kept firing one orb at a time once I knew he was hacking, it kept his army dancing uselessly.

Also safe to assume he was map hacking.

Also this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this behavior, this is just the first time I checked since it was very blatant in this particular case.

I’ve had multiple occasions where post-splits (opposite of pre-split) were too accurate. In this game you’ll see me manually pre split a couple of times against his disruptors.

That’s good they should give to this to everyone on ladder, since disruptors are most unskilled units, which even on pro play can instantly win the game and cannot be even outrunned with stim from large distance and you can’t load units in middle of battle and liberators sucks… You have to resiege everytime protoss 1 click to move his army he will tire you and force mistakes sooner or later… Even with rapid fire it takes much more skill… I once offraced tos and beatean gm with disruptors…

A rare occasion, when a hacking accusation is backed-up by some real evidence.

Is this a pro-hack post?

I watched replay a third time, his adepts are scripted to individually target workers and he has a script for stalker warp in off his prism as well.

I was wondering how I lost 20 workers in an instant from the first adept drop!

Have you complained to support? Wonder when the reply will be and WHEN.
For you know, posting this on forums make nothing but making the community aware.

I only sent a “report” using in-game feature. Is there a better way?

Maybe that “Adept-script” could be included in the next Balance-Patch as a compensation for the Zealot nerf?
Just saying…

Looks like a good case that he was hacking.

People that hack in starcraft 2 are sad human beings no matter what it is… map hackin… etc…

edit : Actually cheating in any game.

It is really sad what those poor excuses for human beings would do in the outside world in real life…

Queue angelic singing every time one disruptor orb or one baneling parts the protoss sea.

More splithacks for our amusement.

Wait, but didn’t Nathanias said hacks do not exist?

Hacks do exist, the question is “how many of people accused of hacking are actually hacking?”. I’m personally yet to play against a person, that I’m sure to be hacking (1v1, EU, Dia). On the other hand: I’ve been called a “hacker” multiple times. So IMO hacking and cheating is much less of a problem, than many believe.

Ya what misteral said. I’ve been accused of hacking at least a dozen times since the beginning of sc2. Probably more than that but it’s hard to remember. I’ve never hacked in my life and never plan to. It really does defeat the purpose of the game to me which is to outplay your opponent. That feeling is so good, and you could never have it if you were hacking. I imagine hacker types tend to stick to activities with low consequences. Prolly don’t take part in dangerous sports or anything since there’s actual challenge and risk to deal with, as there is when legitimately playing sc2.

I think, the Disruptor needs a slight buff to avoid these hacks which in ladder are becoming more common every day. My suggestion is to add a 2nd ability to let the players to determine when to detonate the nova, if that key is not pressed, nova detonates as normal. This would add unpredictability for cheaters, and skill for pro players to dodge the novas. A more microable discruptor. The unit will be in between current state and previous patch where it detonated on contact.

Disruptor vs disruptor would be kinda messed up a little. Even if person A threw his nova first, person B took a risk and detonated his nova a split second earlier and now all person A’s disruptors are gone. Also, saw TvP, i wasn’t there to see the disruptor shoot, but I was there just to see the nova over my army, this button would prevent me from picking up to avoid it.

You can just tell when “something ins’t right.”

Even in chess low rated chess players cheat in tricky situations. If they were so good to dig themselves out of the hole, how did they get in the hole to begin with?

Report the scum to customer support.Do not delay.
