I’m a Terran player. I love Terran. I think our race is difficult and that it requires a lot of micro. I think other races have a lot of strong tools to deal with Terran, but enough is enough.
The way several unnamed posters make Terran players look is absolutely ridiculous. I can see why everyone thinks all Terrans are whiners. Every single day the same people are saying “NERF Protoss! OP” or “NERF Zerg, OP!” or “Serral vs XXXX, so unfair!” Every. Single. Day.
Look, no one is going to take you seriously if you complain about the same thing all the time, or claim that X race is OP because of Y without legitimately considering other opinions. I’m on your guys “team” and even I don’t take you seriously anymore. Now, after months (or possibly years) of this, almost nobody takes Terran complaints seriously! I used to get irritated when people would respond with “learn to play” but you know what? I understand them now after a while you just get fed up.
To all non-Terran players. I urge you to consider: We’re not all the same. Many of us who play Terran are not of the same mindset as others.

I’m about to schizo post but hear me out.
Terran players don’t actually whine anymore and we’ve all just been gaslit to believe that they do. It’s a nefarious Zerg strategy to undermine our legitimate balance complaints. Also the really obvious whine Terrans are really just Zerg players masquerading as Terran players.

Yes some unnamed that I named directly and got my time off for that. It’s done by 2-3 and I dont take avilo offsprings seriously either
I’m a Terran, but there are definitely Terrans that still whine, just looking at the front page.
Having said that, the number that do are significantly less than what people think, and certainly there are far more whiners from other races than those races think too.
Every race whines and has their whiners. Sometimes it’s justified, other times it’s most definitely not.

Thank you for saying this. Thank you. I get along with or at the very least respect the opinions of many of the Terran players on the board including you, Terranicil, Miro, and even Duke most of the time. Heck even Shia and Peek have their moments. But I refuse to lose more brain cells reading the **** Cheese posts. He agreed to try Protoss, got his **** smashed. Then he claimed that he never actually “tried to ladder” as Protoss. But in reality he gave up because he realized it actually does take skill. And now just cant stop talking out of his *** to the point where even Terran players actively disagree with him. I wish it didnt bother me but it pisses me off that people have entertained his warped analysis on the game and tried to encourage him to get better and he has not progressed whatsoever.
Edit: forgot about CollegeWings. He is alright too.

I agree with most of your statement. However the terran whiners make it up with sheer volume of complaints.
When you have terrans complaining because you didn’t win a game hard enough.
When you have terrans complaining because a terran didnt make it to the round of 4 in a tournament where you had 3 out of 4 in the round of 4 and a tvt finals.
When you have terrans trying to nerf the baneling on the account that “1 baneling can 1 shot 2 marines”.
When you have terrans claiming the ultralisk is overpowered…
Yeah. I absolutely agree there isn’t as many terran whiners as people think. But they sure do make a lot of posts.

you are completely right, there are like about 3 terran whiners who keep posting no stop and are very boring, but I have to say the rest of us “normal” terrans simply ignore them, as you can see from the likes they get, on the opposite in this forum when someone opens a thread against terran, they always get a lot of likes. But We have a responsability, those terran whiners that ruin everything should be stopped by us, we should really move en mass against them and make them understand they’re not helping us, but just being trolls who really bothered everyone

Maybe not all Terrans are whiners but over the years, way too much damage has been done to Terran’s credibility that I think it’s fair that no one takes them seriously.
There ARE more Terran whiners than Zerg and Protoss. That’s not even close. It sucks for you because it’s your race but that’s the truth.
If you want your concerns with the game to be taken seriously again, you need to start calling out Terran whiners on their bs very clearly. Tell them they are WRONG, tell them the game is not as bad as they think it is in a clear way… because to be frank the entire Terran community has allowed this whine to happen and if nothing is done then you’re part of the problem. I can’t do this alone. I’ve been trying for years but if anything, Terran whine has gotten worse. We need Terran players that claim they aren’t whiners to step up to the plate.

The thing about it though is they have new whiners rotating in constantly. Almost like theres a factory producing them. A pro player and caster shaped factory that teaches terran players to whine rather than improve. Their role models lead to this whine culture and thats what really needs to stop. Take a look at neuros stream if you want to see the polar opposite of that sometime.

Thanks for this post. And yeah being terran doesnt mean your opinion is invalid. Its just when someone starts whining that they get ridiculed. I know I’m one of the more prominent zerg posters on here so some people might not want to believe me but I’ve spent countless hours with terran and protoss friends on discord talking about the game because its fun to hear from people with different perspectives.
Hearing from people who are only interested in complaining and asking for buffs/nerfs with no consideration for the other races is not fun though. And when those people clog the forum with nonsense then no real conversation can happen. Its the reason this place is considered a joke by the community.
