AI suggestion for unit auto-targetting

Can we make protoss cannons preferentially target air units over ground units? In almost every situation this is desired I would think

Can we have all units in general ignore zerg cocoons whilst attacking? It’s very annoying to see have half your army shooting those 10 armor, 200 HP cocoons instead of buildings.

These would be simple quality of life fixes for everyone when it comes to AI targeting in my opinion.

How about give army priority kill enemy unit not charge on buildings

Right now the AI priority does go to units before buildings. Units will attack other units, then non-attacking workers, then buildings preferentially I believe.

That however is a problem with the larva cocoon. Its treated as a unit but is pretty much unkillable (not sure why they get this protection. Protoss warp ins for example don’t get this protection). Units with preferentially target the cocoon vs say a nearby extractor or moving on with the rest of the attack move command. It would be best if larva cocoons could be ignored or be relegated in the AI to be lower attack priority than buildings until the unit pops out. I think this would make all races happy ZVZ, PVZ, TVZ)

how about we give prottoss auto blink micro, you know what lets just turn the whole game into nexus wars.

They’d probably have to split the weapon in two and prioritize the air version, but it is doable.

That is because Zerg cocoons and eggs take a very long time to finish morphing.
