Are you familiar with the concept of the granularity Mr. Troll? Protoss can’t produce half-Carrier or terran half-BC, whereas Zerg can produce as much Mutas as resources allow, if not 12 they can produce 8 or 10.
You would understand better if you had a Super-Muta that costed as much as 4 Mutas…
Only terrans that build heavily Thor/BC can understand.

You know what the sad part is? Protoss can reinforce way faster than zerg cuz of warp gate. It is literally faster than mass hatchery LOL. So in lategame, even if zerg army somehow won, that would be even because protoss can warp in 10000000 stalkers/high templars/zealots.

For that to happen he has to have 16-18 GW spinning on his bases, what were you doing during that time when Protoss was vulnerable due to heavy cost of Production/Tech/Upgrades?
Protoss has not the economy to do all that AND to have a powerful army at the same time.
It’s a variant of the Zerg problem of Probes or army.
Toss has the best econ in the game as all their workers are mining while one builds everything Z has to sac drones to build while T loses mining time this is why P econ shoots up early in the game it’s not hard for a P to get to 15-18 gates in the game’s current state with this econ and the fact P has the best defence and offence at the same time. Toss GW units don’t have to travel to a position either while Z and T has to come across the map.
In theory Z is meant to reinforce faster but in practice the econ affords P to have equal resources so can have numerous gates behind attacks even the 15-18 you mention especially in late game which when combined with WG allows for faster reinforcements. You’re also not factoring in Z units have to travel from different hatcheries as well While Toss GW units all warp in where the P player wants, often Z units get caught while reinforcing as a result.
That’s a race feature that is more than amply balanced by:
- Structure cost takes the drone into account (Hatch cost + Drone = Nexus cost)
- Drones have flexibility in turning to structures (and save themselves from being killed).
- In late-game, Protoss has to kill 20-30 Probes whereas Zerg turns those 20-30 Drones in 20-30 Spore/Spines.
A race such as Zerg with Protoss Technology (idiocy of SC2) being able to trade in 1:1 with high-technology race should also have similar economy to Protoss.
Return the Dark-Archon/Arbiter and you can have superior economy and stay consistent with the race-fantasy (swarmy race that trades poorly but builds a deluge of units).
Lol dude what is a weakness you say it as if it was an advatage, sure that is a perk but the downside is much greater (which is balanced around larger worker production).
Fantasy unfortunatley went off the window, because swarmy zerg units are simply not able to trade at all no matter how many waves you throw. Throw roach Hydra against a robo based army with storm, and you’ll se it can take an infinite amount of waves, with barely a dent in the army.
One of the issues with Protoss is the absurd amount of aoe it has, which makes it really inflexible to balance.
Why is a weakness doing something that saves the life of Drone? Or the abilities of drones to burrow (Probes can’t turn themselves in a GW and revert, or burrow to hide from harass).
If Probes were able to do that a terran would be forced to use besides the WM drop an extra-Scan to discover the burrowed Probes.
This is not a whine, different races are different and rightly so, but playing the victim is not right.
What you mentioned is a perk of an intentional weakness given to zerg which is to lose a worker every time you make a building. There is no world in which that is compensated by the ability to save a worker that way. I am just saying you should not list it as a strength because the mechanic itself is a weakness.
For that you don’t build workers sequentially like Terran/Protos but in bulk. I have yet to see a Protoss/Terran to produce out of a single Nexus/CC 10 Probe/SCV at a time…
That gives Zerg the ability to exponentially expand economy or quasi-instantly remax in the battle.
